I dont know what the heck everyone is whining about. Yes I think Chandra and Sandra deserved it more then her, but come on! This was an amazing season for Izzie Stephens. Did you not see her go through all the emotions with such amazing acting ability? Maybe you don't like Katherine Heigl. The United States was at peace with the fact that she could not act and, at the solicitation of Academy of Arts, was still in conversation with the various television and movie distributors looking toward the keeping her off television entirely.
Indeed, one hour after Hy-gel won, a plane crashed in Thailand and OJ was arrested. While this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue giving out Emmys based upon talent and acting, it contained no threat or hint of realism or acting merit.
It will be recorded that the tragedy that was her performance makes it obvious that the this bullshit was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Emmy people has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued good acting on television.
The attack today on the American taste has caused severe damage to American television and cinema forces. Very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American acting talent has been reported torpedoed on a grand scale between Las Angeles and New York City.

You know I really didn't like the turn Izzie Stevens took this season but I think Katherine Heigl acted it perfectly. It was meant to be an annoying, aggrivating turn of character because of all she went through with Denny. And like many others I don't think she was the best choice this year (last year maybe) but I'm glad someone from Grey's won.
But I still don't understand the hating on the actress. And more than that I don't understand people being so vehemently angry at someone who did nothing to them personally to the point of acting like middle schools kids again. Why can't we have an intelligent grown up discussion about this instead of name calling and mud throwing?!?! Seriously!

No, I am not a School Principal. Yes, I am very aware of where Austrailia and Belgium are. Belgium is a beautiful country in Europe, north of France, south of The Netherlands and west for Germany. Well we can all guess that this is one of the "political" type awards. Sometimes stars receive a well deserved nod for diplaying their acting chops; other times it is about other forces working in the background - the powerful gay and lesbian groups who Heigl has shown such loyalty to, the success and hype surronding knocked up, the aggresive lobbying of whoever is representing and marketing her as one of the hot actresses in tinseltown.
The truth is that heigl is only a so-so actress. I honestly do not see longevity in her career. She simply does not possess the range and sheer ability to produce the goods over and over. Sure she could spend time doing one long row of inane comedies by Judd Apatow and the like. She does not even have the abilities of that other blonde next door Meg Ryan. I might end up totally shocked as heigl goes on one day to act in films like - the painted veil, birth, becoming jane, etc. But somehow I do not think she will be able to carry them off. Not that she is likely to be given the chance. Can you see serious directors fighting to send scripts to her?
