i believe that katherine heigl is a great actress.
i believe that she was great in season two.
i believe that SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE WON THE EMMY.
i believe that chandra wilson and especially sandra oh were more deserving of it.
i believe that all of the grey's girls deserve it, but that SO and CW deserve it more and should have won, but am glad that at least one of the grey's girls won.

Puh-leeze! The Emmy for best supporting actress on a drama went to Katherine Heigl instead of one of her nominated costars, Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson? Whatâ€"the voters cast their ballots based on which of them has the best whine and vacant stare? Heigl's acting skills are faint compared to Oh's and Wilson's. I even thought that she was sometimes over her head on "Roswell" (on which her character was also nicknamed Izzie). Oh's and Wilson's characters require so much more thought and skill than Heigl's, and they carry it off beautifully. The only times that Heigl had to show any true flair was when Denny died, and even those scenes were a bit overwrought.
Perhaps the Emmy folks cast their votes based only on the candidates' looks. OK, so Heigl would win that one (even though her hair is obviously bleached blond within an inch of its life), but Hollywood has a lot more pretty blond girls than it does women who are talented actresses. Next year, Oh or Wilson had better what's due her, or there will be lots of Emmy-voters butt to kick!

She didn't say sh** on stage, she said in reaction to her winning, she was in shock. Oh my an adult says a bad word, oh please grow up!
I thought the award should have gone to Sandra, but I'm pround of Katherine just the same.
It was so sweet when she won Jim Pickens put her hand on her shoulder and Sandra looked really happy for her and Chandra blowing her kisses and the hug with TR. I'ts so nice to see a cast support one another.

I won 100 bucks coz Hy-gel pretended that she has nothing prepared but her speech sounded memorized (she just threw in some tears here and there, duh!). I bet that's the reason why she wasn't at Sandra Oh's pre-emmy party - coz she was already preparing her speech. Ya know, she was already sure that she's gonna win, sleeping with the Emmy accountants and all. Of course, right?

I'm not an avid fan of a specific TV show, I'm just a TV enthusiast, so to speak, and in my humble and very honest opinion, Katherine Heigl beating Sandra Oh is one big bullshit. I can't believe Katherine Heigl won. I don't hate her. I like Izzie as a character but Katherine as an actress can't even tear up convincingly. Her ability to portray certain emotions is very limited. I really can't believe that she won over Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh. As someone posted, it definitely has something to do with Knocked Up and her marketability, and her being a sterotypical blonde girl with big boobs. With Katherine Heigl's win, The Emmy's reputation and credibility is now questionable. I am in disbelief until now. Whatever happened to truthful, quality acting? While I do think Oh is brilliant season 3 belonged to Heigel solely because of the diff stories lines and her character's growth and subsequent fall from grace. .
Sandra was better in S1 and S2 and her storyline with BUrke got a little boring in S3.
