I may be in the minority, but I'm very sad about George and Izzie...the core of George to me was that he was this decent, blue collar guy who honored his commitments. Some have commented on other boards that his relationship with Callie was because of his father's death, but he was with her well before that, though not married to her. His response to her wanting to have a baby was that of the sweet, decent George I thought he was. The end of this premier episode shows me that the writers are making him into someone I don't much respect any more. As for Izzie, there are things I really like about her - the deer thing was wonderful. But I also see her as very self-absorbed and to h*** with anyone who gets in her way. Callie - gave her heart fully and has supported George in every way, even when he wasn't speaking to her. She did *not* deserve this.

How beautiful were Izzie and George, best I love you scene I have ever seen. I am sorry for Callie, but George has never loved her like she did him and it is sad, but it happens. Now she eneds to find someone who will and she deserves it.
George and Izzie are just so in love, it was written so clearly on their faces. I cried watching it, it was so beautiful. I guess I am a romantic, LOL, but I am totally rooting for Gizzie.

I like Lexie, probably because Mederith gets on my nerves sometimes because she is so ridiculous about not knowning what she wants. But Lexie just seems stable, and I adore what she did for George. She may become one of my favorite people. I love George, and I think he belongs with Izzie, I just wish they hadn't given him a wife already...I would like the story line more if that wasn't happening.

I'm sorry to all the Gizzie fans out there... but in my opinion watching them together as a couple is like... watching my brother and sister together as a couple. It's painful! Absolutely painful for me. I have to turn my head away whenever they are on the screen. They have amazing chemistry together as friends. But this whole love story between them has turned Izzie into a crazy woman and George into a cheater. It's horrible to watch because that's not who they really are. I think what it is is that they are both lost still. Izzie from losing Denny and not being able to get back to normal relationships and George from his losing his dad and then not grieving properly but getting married instead. And both of them did these things predominantely without each other (their best friends!) to comfort them because they were caught up with other things at the time. Yes they love each other as friends and they were definitely missing each other so of course the first time they actually are together again would be intense and emotional. So I can almost understand them hooking up when I look at it like that. But them as a couple is just ridiculous and I'll say it one more time painful! Sorry Gizzie fans it's just how I feel.

HALLELUJA!! Grey's is back!!!
I am soooo SUPER disappointed in George! I thought he was a better man than that. He's just going to forget about the vows he took with Callie and move back into "the house" with Izzie??? Is that where this is going??? It would just be weird if they ended up together.
I'm very hopeful that McDreamy doesn't let Meredith go, and even more hopeful that Meredith wakes up and smells the McDreamy right in front of her!!! They were meant to be!!!
I didn't think I would like Lexie, but I think I kind of do.
I hope Alex can find someone to love, even if it's against his character. I feel that's something he needs.

The haters seriously need to come with better material. Brother and sister, my eye, Gizzie doesn't kiss like brother and sister do. If you kiss your sibling in the elevator with as much passion and longing as george and Izie kissed in that elevator, which was the hottest kiss I have ever seen, then maybe you shopuld check that out, it is not normal.
And the Denny thing again. Shonda said this was not about Denny, that he was dead and Izzie was over him. I think Izzie loved Denny, but I think she loves george more. I have never seen ehr glow around a person as much as she does in that CTV preview where she is saying George loves her too, she is lighting up from head to toe, not even Denny did that to her. I think she loved Denny, but George is the one. I thought she had feelings for George back when she had that convo with Denny and instead of talking about their relationship, she couldn't shut up one minute about George. Denny noticed too as he threw her the weirdest look.
As for cheating, then maybe you should hate Cristina (who boasted about cheating on all her boyfriends without an ounce of guilt), Alex, Meredith, Derek, Mark, Addison, Richard, well pretty much the whole list of characters really.
I think some of the Gizie haters are just frustrated Alex and Izzie fans who can't stand she never fell in love with Alex. I remember the rabid hate for Denny too back in the day.
Quite sad really!

heather, now you know how I felt about Alex and Izzie. They made me physically ill and always feeling very icked out and squeamish. My mom watched those two with me one time and said, they are gross!
I find george and Izzie absolutely beautiful to watch. I have seen this love grow and develop over the seasons. They have been best friends, family and each other's person and I just saw george getting jealous of Alex and Izzie getting so jealous of Callie and them talking about each other all the time, and I got so frustrated they couldn't see they were falling in love.
This is so hertbreaking because if Callie hadn't insisted on eloping and had just settled for a long engagement, I am sure it would have opened Izzie's eye that she loved george so much mroe than a friend and she didn't want him to marry someone else.
And then they wouldn't have had to cheat on Callie.
Cheating is wrong, but I never thought Callie was this perfect little saint. She knew George didn't love her as much as she did when she married him and she kept pushing and pushing for him to commit more than he was ready to.
When Is ee George and Izzie, I just see this pure, sweet, beautiful love and when you find true love like I believe they did, you should fight for it with all you have.

I really missed Burke and Addison, there was a definite void. I liked the addition of Lexie. Forget Izzy and Callie, Lexie is the very first time I've felt any chemistry at all between George and any of the female cast members.
Alex needs to lose the Anton LaVey look.
Loved the moment between Mark and Derek. I was waiting for Mark to say, "that sounded straighter in my head."

I miss the focus on being doctors. I'm so tired of trying to figure out who's going to sleep with whom next -- it was more interesting when we saw the interns struggling with the responsibilities of saving lives. This is not even a good soap opera anymore - none of the characters seem to have any interests except sex and humiliating each other. And even the medical cases and jokes are repeating. We had a lost leg before, now a lost arm. We had the psycho eating doll heads and now the sick guy eating scissors. Hey writers! Wake up! Make up something new. Bring in some cases that the doctors really feel.
