Patrick Dempsey's auto racing passion has been well documented, but the leading man is also a fan of a different kind of racing - cycling! The Grey's Anatomy star was spotted last month at the sport's famous Tour de France and gave an interview we thought you'd enjoy. You can watch it here.

Former Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh celebrated her bachelorette party in her honor with pals on Saturday night at Tao nightclub inside the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
Among those on hand to help Kate Walsh celebrate were Grey's co-star Sara Ramirez, and co-star Justin Chambers' wife, Keisha Chambers.
While no date has been announced (at least none that we know of), it looks like a wedding is in the works and will happen soon. Kate Walsh, 39, has been engaged to studio executive Alex Young for about three months.
The Season 4 premiere of Grey's Anatomy, titled "A Change Is Gonna Come," airs September 27 at 9 p.m. on ABC. The premiere of Private Practice airs the day before �" Wednesday, September 26, also at 9 p.m.
Thanks to one of our readers, Tamika. for forwarding this along. According to Ellen Pompeo's Wikipedia page, the actress appeared in the music video for "Have a Nice Day," a single by the Welsh rock band Stereophonics. The song appears on their 2001 album, Just Enough Education to Perform.

Katherine Heigl, who became a resident at the end of last season's Grey's Anatomy, will also be taking on a new role in real life.
The actress and her mother and manager, Nancy Heigl, will join the ranks of Will Smith, Madonna and Drew Barrymore by forming their own production shingle, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first project at the newly formed company is an untitled action-comedy with Fox.
Katherine Heigl herself will star in the project, for which the plot is currently under wraps. A search for writers is underway.
Heigl has appeared in a number of forgettable films including Valentine, Bride of Chucky and The Ringer. Katherine hit the jackpot this year, though, with the Judd Apatow project Knocked Up opposite Seth Rogen.
An Emmy nominee this year for Grey's Anatomy, Heigl became a bona fide film star with Knocked Up, which has grossed more than $145 million.
She is also set to star in the Fox romantic comedy 27 Dresses, which is scheduled for release in January. In 27 Dresses, scheduled for release in January 2008, Heigl will be playing Jane, a young woman who has been a bridesmaid 27 times - and wonders if she'll have to stand by in an ugly dress again while her sister marries the man that Jane secretly loves.

Ever the humanitarian, Chandra Wilson (along with her three children) will be starring in a new Folgers Gourmet Selections commercial. Partnering with the Greater Los Angeles chapter of Habitat for Humanity, Chandra and family hope to raise up to $150,000 to help families in need.
The press release detailing the award-winning Grey's Anatomy star's latest charitable endeavor reads as follows:
Starting today, consumers are encouraged to create their own Folgers Gourmet Selections commercial about what makes their morning special. The commercials are simple to create and can be completed in four easy steps online. Each time someone submits a commercial or votes on their favorite submission, Folgers Gourmet Selections will make a $1 donation to Habitat for Humanity up to $150,000. Consumers will be able to share their commercials with friends and family members and encourage their participation. P&G Coffee has already pledged $150,000 to Habitat for Humanity New Orleans and hopes to raise an additional $150,000 for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles for a total contribution of $300,000.

Isaiah Washington has found solace in his charity work with the African nation of Sierra Leone, despite all the negativity swirling around his departure from Grey's Anatomy in June.
"This is the thing that kept me sane," Washington told USA Today. "While all the negative stuff was happening [on Grey's Anatomy], I had all this support over there."
To soothe any bad feelings he had from the on-set altercation with co-star Patrick Dempsey, during which it was alleged that Washington uttered a homophobic slur (the context of which has been widely debated and disputed) the actor says that he immersed himself in his children's charity - the Gondobay Manga Foundation.
Isaiah Washington also tells the newspaper that he and his wife, Jenisa, are considering adoption since making their latest trip.
"There is one boy, about eight years old, who I fell in love with [in Sierra Leone]," he says. "But I'm not interested in stripping him of his culture. My wife and I have three kids already, but we have talked about adoption, and we're not ruling it out."
The actor's foundation is building a school in the Njala Kendema village in Sierra Leone, with 350 students due to start there this September.
Says Washington, who is currently shooting five episodes as part of a guest role he will play on NBC's new drama, Bionic Woman:
"I feel safer in Sierra Leone than I do in L.A., because they're my people and they are not trying to hurt you. If anything, they're going to try to get money out of you to survive."
Once Isaiah Washington found that he had a genetic connection to people of that African nation, it has helped keep him going on a regular basis.
"When I get to the point when I'm very frustrated, I go to my Web site to check e-mails from [people] all over the world who want to help out."
Here are a few of the latest Grey's Anatomy spoilers we've come across ...
-- Sources confirm that Emmy nominee Elizabeth Reaser is returning to Grey's Anatomy this fall as Alex's erstwhile Jane Doe / Rebecca Pope. An exact episode count is still being worked out, but Michael Ausiello of TV Guide reports that it's "definitely more than one."
-- Ausiello also reports that it's looking more like Shonda Rhimes may officially stick a fork in George and Izzie in the season premiere when the pals are forced to examine their relationship while tending to a very unusual patient: a deer. That's right, an injured deer comes to Seattle Grace Hospital.
NOTE: We've also heard similar spoilers along these lines ... the only variant being the animal, which is also rumored to be a raccoon. Looks like O'Mizzie could really be done, though.
-- Here's a spoiler from allegedly from a Grey's Anatomy script that got out. The names have been altered, so it's unknown whether the women involved in the plot line are cast members, guest stars or some combination thereof. In any case, here's the reported story line:
Three women, Elaine, Connie, and Joanne, are obviously very close. Dr. Lawson enters with his interns, and Elaine tells Connie this is why she should get sick also... they are all so handsome.
