Grey’s Spoiler Watch: Guest Stars & Love
Michael Ausiello of TV Guide has some new dirt on what’s to come early in the new season of Grey’s Anatomy, which begins Thursday, September 27.
By request, we’re only posting spoilers after the jump, so fans who desire to be kept in the dark can stay that way. But others remain spoiler hungry, so here’s what this insider has to say.
Question: Do you have any good Grey’s Anatomy scoop?
Ausiello: Since Preston Burke never coming back, Shonda Rhimes went and got the next best thing: his mama! Yep, Diahann Carroll (pictured) is returning in this season’s second episode when she shows up at Seattle Grace to get that choker back from Cristina. Needless to say, her return is shocking — and potentially clarifying — for Dr. Yang. It’s also funny as hell.
In fact, I hear the entire episode is high-sterical. There is also, apparently, some great stuff with Chandra Wilson as Bailey struggles with no longer being the boss lady.
Question: There’s a rumor going around that there’s a big Mer-Der sex scene set in a shower in Grey’s Anatomy third episode. True?
Ausiello: False. Although the word “bathroom” is uttered at least once in the episode.
Question: Have you heard anything about (former Gilmore Girls) star Edward Hermann’s character on Grey’s Anatomy?
Ausiello: I hear he’s playing the world’s oldest intern.
Oeh yeah, a MerDer scene in the bathroom :p
The spoilers made me even more curious!
So, they are saying nothing is going to happen between Mer/Der in the shower….?? What a disapointment! Whats up with the bathroom?????
I don’t care WHERE the MER/DER Scene is, just so there IS one!!! A GOOOOOOD One. Long overdue, I say.

Greys scoop. I am very tired of the Mere Der back and forth. Last season was such a disappointment. Is this season going to be better. Are they going to be together?
GREY’S ANATOMY: Looks like it. But I’m sure they will still have a few bumps in their road.
Tell me that Lexi and Derrek, on GA, will not hook up, how cliche will that be?????
GREY’S ANATOMY: I thought the spoilers on the GA page at SpoilerFix made it clear that they will not hook up.
I was looking forward to the Mer/Der shower scene…..but I agree, as long as they are together and happy, we’ll take ‘em where ever they want to put them! (ha)
I don’t think it matters where they do it just as long as they do it. You know every true MerDer want that scene.
Hey BONNIE, YOU ARE SOOoo RIGHT!!! Seriously
I hope Shonda & the writers REALLY move on to a maturing and now humorously bumpy yet solid relationship between Meredith and Derek (code for lighten up) and find some new challenges worthy of the Dempsey/Pompeo on screen chemistry (which you cannot buy or replace) and STOP jerking around their audience in the same old getting older way AND move on to the NUMEROUS other couples to invent and muck around with. Please please please Shonda, return to the fabulous writing that drove season one and two. Good riddance to Isaiah Washington for whatever he did or did not do– if he goes on another talk show why doesn’t Grey’s send him a gold plated shovel- it could make it all less boring and self serving. And don’t forget the jury is still out on Grey’s future…the last half of season four was NOT up to earlier standards.

the shower scene is actually between Derek and Addison after Derek comes back from McVet’s place after seeing Meredith there!! Derek walks into his trailer and he tells Addison to get in the shower so as they can have some “hot sex” *cry* i wish it was mer/der!! =[
the shower scene is between Mer and Der (it’s a Derek’s fantasy), the people in the picture are Ellen and Patrick. At the end of the scene we see Derek with Addison on the bed. Anyway that scene is a MerDer scene.
If you go to youtube & type in md recap & to episode 10 season 2. It´s the episode were Meredith sleeps with Steve. Can i just say Derek didn´t cheat on Addison after he went back to her until the prom. Meredith just Pictured Derek when she was in bed with Steve. Just to let you it´s only a couple of seconds long

Agreed completely with rrs — as long as Mer/Der do get happily-in-a-relationship scenes, I don’t care if it’s a sex scene — I’m happy.
I hope Burke’s mama actually sees that HER SON walked out when Cristina was READY. I would be so furious if she started slapping Cristina around or something.

Well, at least MerDer are still together.I want them to be together forever!
I do not like the idea that Lexie and Derrick will even have a link besides that she will be hopefully the future sister-in-law..
Anyways, watching Grey’s is really a learning experience on different health cases that one might enounter
What about Calli and her dad finding out that George cheated with Izzie? That should be a good episode. Will George stay? Maybe he will go L.A. to join Private Practice?
