Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: The Latest
Here are a few of the latest Grey's Anatomy spoilers we've come across ...
-- Sources confirm that Emmy nominee Elizabeth Reaser is returning to Grey's Anatomy this fall as Alex's erstwhile Jane Doe / Rebecca Pope. An exact episode count is still being worked out, but Michael Ausiello of TV Guide reports that it's "definitely more than one."
-- Ausiello also reports that it's looking more like Shonda Rhimes may officially stick a fork in George and Izzie in the season premiere when the pals are forced to examine their relationship while tending to a very unusual patient: a deer. That's right, an injured deer comes to Seattle Grace Hospital.
NOTE: We've also heard similar spoilers along these lines ... the only variant being the animal, which is also rumored to be a raccoon. Looks like O'Mizzie could really be done, though.
-- Here's a spoiler from allegedly from a Grey's Anatomy script that got out. The names have been altered, so it's unknown whether the women involved in the plot line are cast members, guest stars or some combination thereof. In any case, here's the reported story line:
Three women, Elaine, Connie, and Joanne, are obviously very close. Dr. Lawson enters with his interns, and Elaine tells Connie this is why she should get sick also... they are all so handsome.
Dr. Smith enters and Connie calls him the most handsome of all, and it is clear that they know one another. Connie tells them all that Dr, Smith removed her appendix and it BARELY left a scar. She has told her friends all about him, and she says she gets nervous around the good-looking ones. Connie has cancer in her vocal chords, and they will have to do surgery on her to remove them. Connie is afraid that this may be her last chance to talk and she has so much that she has to say.
With her friends' encouragement she does speak - and insults Joanne (tells her that her pants make her look fat) and Elaine (her breath is terrible). Later, the friends return to find that Connie's surgery went well and she will talk again, but for now she has to rest her vocal chords (Dr. Brown is with her). Elaine and Joanne come in with balloons and tell her that since she can't talk it THEIR turn - and they begin by telling her that she has horrible taste is men.
The three woman bond as Dr. Brown leaves. Henry is a sullen 15 year-old, and his sudden change in behavior is alarming to his mother, Marcy, who has brought him in for drug tests and a complete blood work up. Dr. Keller is the doctor on the case. When the blood tests come back clean, Marcy is still concerned and Dr. Keller tells her that he's just a teenager, when Henry starts spouting nonsense.
Dr. Keller orders some neurological tests. Later, Dr, Keller is paged back to the clinic to find that Henry had another spouting nonsense spell and has collapsed. An exam shows that he has herniated and pressure in his brain. Dr. Keller orders Dr. Smith paged.

Hmz, I don't like new ppl entering the show..It sounds kinda crap, no?
Jane Doe, I found her pretty annoying..
Pff, I don't think season 4 will be as good as the former seasons..
We'll know within a few months!

Are these new doctors regulars?
I already don't like them!
August 1st, 2007 3:27 PM
I too, would like to know if these new doctors will be regulars and will they take the spotlight off of Ellen Pompeo (Meredith), Patrick Dempsey (Derek), Sandra Oh (Christina), Chandra Wilson (Dr. Bailey)... etc. So, I'm with No.... I definately don't like them, and I haven't even seen them yet
August 1st, 2007 3:38 PM
that's not cool. there's too many characters for us to learn now.
i bet they're not even as good as the original cast.
no matter how "fun" season 4 is gonna be, i just know it's never gonna be as good as it used to be. shit.

I dont think Shonda will sit down and just let her show go down. She definately knows what she is doing and is always full of secrets. These new doctors could be the regular doctors but they changed the names anyway to confuse everyone. I read somewhere where shonda said she reads every single blogs/comments from her fans and she takes them very serious, i say give this woman a chance, i dont think she will let us down. At least i hope not.
August 1st, 2007 4:10 PM
Yeah I think Shonda's under a lot of pressure, Pompeo has a contract for 2 more seasons, what if people won't watch the show anymore.. Well as I said before: Maybe it would be better if they would stop at a penicle, a 'happy ending' or something, instead of storylines that aren't 'real life' anymore, then grey's will fade away..
August 1st, 2007 4:24 PM
wow. i think that ava/rebecca [whatever her name is] will be good coming back to the show. but it would be hard to incorporate her [remember merideth and mcvet?] since shes not a doctor. unless she forgot that she was a doctor and suddenly remebered. but that would be lame.
:]

I thought they were all under contract for 3 more years and then I guess at that point they will decide if the show will run for an additional 2-3 more years. Hopefully, it will last several years to come.
Also, I've noticed that in all the spoilers that are coming out...there is never any mention of whats going on with Meredith and Derek......whats us with that? They are being very secretive about those two.
I think there may be a new cast member or two, but I think the show will continue to evolve around the regular cast.

I did'nt like what I read. They are trying to add way to many people. I mean Shonds herself said writing for all these people was becoming really dificult. To me it takes away from the main character's when guest stars over stay more than a couple of episodes. None of them were that great last season. There is just to many contradictions from one article to the next.

ughhhhhhhhh no more jane doe/ava pullllleeeez!! i was almost comatose the first time around. also if george/izzie is really kaput---that leaves an izzie/alex reunion open. i don't know, i just hope the show is witty and fun and enticing like it was the first season. shonda needs to bring back peter horton and the original batch of writers to right the ship before it's too late. and i don't think shoving the new interns down our throats will be a good way to start.

I loved Seasons 1-2 but 3 let me down. The show in the first couple of years always made me happy but I swear to GOD I was always depressed after each episode of 3....DERMER are perfect..they need to find a way to get them back together...make them the core and everyone works around them....
August 1st, 2007 7:46 PM
the doctors arent new doctors, they are code names for the ones already on the show. so if it gets out ( like it did ) and is leaked on teh internet, no one can really know that deal. it states that in teh paragraphs before hand!
August 1st, 2007 8:00 PM
Dude, what the heck? There's NOTHING about Cristina, Meredith, Derek, McSteamy, Bailey or the Chief! The O'Mizzie part bums me out a little, I was hoping they'd get together (O'Callie makes me barf). And what about Alex? Dude, I've really come to liking Alex on there. What's going to happen to his character? And what about George? Will George still be a Doctor? Or will he just...fade away? And what about McVet? I've heard rumors about him. Man, September cannot come fast enough!
August 1st, 2007 8:07 PM
Yes, people, let's not get all in a huff right away... please take notice of the paragraph stating that the script spoilers use CODE NAMES.
My guess is that all the "Dr.'s" are regular cast members...

Who knows what all this means?I
Great news about guests - Vereen & Hermann are the best.
Have Shonda & the writers figured out the ensemble show works best when the direct chemistry between Pompeo & Dempsey flourishes? They are the central reason many of us got hooked on GA. Their relationship at the end Season 3 was a significant turn off and I'm not alone in that opinion. The writers were out of their depth on this too.
I do have faith Sandra Oh will continue to be given great material because she is great.
The plot developments end of S3 for KH, THK, and SR were ridiculous and hope it gets turned around fast.
Hope the new cast members bring as much to the series as the current cast does.
With the recent news I'm encouraged enough to perhaps try to get over the debacle scripts at the end of last season and think positively enough to at least give Season 4 a chance.

I live in Sydney Australia and we are only 2 eps away from the final, and I must say i will be very dissapointed if MERDER do not get togeather in the 4th season,I am a hugh fan of the show and it is manly due to the both of them that I watch it, and i also think from reading the spoiler there are no new doctors they have just changed the names so the new season will not be spoilt for the fans. Can we at least see MERDER happy and have some fun, she maybe damaged and really does not know how to have relationship but Dereck can be the one to teach her and as we all know she is the love of his life, and he is her's she just needs to relax and have fun. Seriously.....I am so such a huge fan that if Dereck and Mer I want fun and happeniness for them, if the show is pulls them apart I think they will loose lots of fans.
August 1st, 2007 11:47 PM
So if they're code names for regulars, anyone have any guesses who's who?
I'm kinda thinking Dr Smith is Derek and Dr Keller is Alex?
August 2nd, 2007 12:09 AM
I'm thinking Dr. Keller would be Mer.
Dr Brown would be Cristina or maybe George? He's still a Dr even if he's still an intern.
And def. Dr. Smith is Derek.
August 2nd, 2007 2:33 AM
ok sooo i dont want izzie and george to end. it wouldn't make sense just to end it. maybe just for now. cuz it seems like they are so in love. and as we saw in der and mer you cant just "shut it off." and i want the jane doe thing to end thats dum.
August 2nd, 2007 5:23 AM
I think shonda Rhimes has lost her touch. George and Izzie don't make sense together. one minute she is totally mourning Denny the next she is crazy in love with George. I think season 2 was better than 3. Shonda just want to add too much drama that it has become ridiculous.
August 2nd, 2007 5:27 AM
also how is Lexi so lose in age to Meredith. i thought mer's dad stuck around until she was at least 5. so how is lexi only 1 or 2 years younger than Mer????????
August 2nd, 2007 7:26 AM
All these new characters are going to make the show worse. Season 4 better be good, because season 3 finale was kind of a disappointment. I mean, season 2's finale was so great. It was the best finale of any show I've ever seen. Season 3 was good at the beginning and then it got weird after Meredith drowned with the whole Derek's emotions and George and Izzie. And now there's like a billion new people. It's not good. These people Connie and Dr. Brown or whatever better be one episode type things. I like the fact that Jane Doe is going to be a regular. Alex needs to get her back, and even though I don't like Lexie, I don't mind that she is a regular. All these others, GO HOME.
August 2nd, 2007 8:32 AM
they should maintain the original crew. dont add new actors. i agree with the comment made bl lol @aug 2. i think lexie should be out. and Derek should be more patience with Mer. dont be too sensitive with her. she needs him in her life. also love burke and christina. and so's george and callie. she's cool. keep it simple.
August 2nd, 2007 8:58 AM
i dont htink they are adding many new doctors, those are just code names, and dr smith has to be derek, because who else would be paged for something neuro?
August 2nd, 2007 10:22 AM
there were NAME ALTERATIONS!
Those characters aren't necesarilly all new, someone just changed them so they wouldn't give it all away. jeez, you people need to read before you type.
