  1. Dempsey is DREAMY Says:

So many different stories, so many different targeted actors, i mean we got the whole Isiah vs. T.R. but now its Isiah vs. Patrick, Isiah telling people they can't act, Blaming Ellen because they waited for her,

okay i agree with Lou, he chose those words, if he singles himself out with the F word fine, whatever, but if he says someone made him say it, or he calls someone that and then he says he didnt we have a problem, i mean seriously?!

I felt sorry for him also, i was like okay, the dumbass actors screwed this up, but now its like how many more stories or how many more people are you blaming?

It's over, hes gone, if they keep bringing this up more people will get in trouble, grow up Isiah we get your point. This stupid fight is pointless, shonda made the decision your gone, end of story.

  2. DixieGirl Says:

i wasn't there, so I can't say definitively "this is what happened". What I have seen is multiple versions of the same event and subsequent related events - all from the same person, IW.

The fact that the 'facts' keep changing make me doubt his credibility. I don't know which of the many stories is REAL - or if any of them are.

So - trying to be non-judgemental - I wish IW well, and I wish he (and everyone else) would move on. For whatever cause, the whole thing cast a pall over GA S3 stories and cast members, and I want the writing to be better and the remaining cast to be a superb ensemble together again.

And I'll wait for the mini-series to come out for the "behind the scenes...." lol

  3. Get a grip Says:

Some of you obviously didn't watch the Larry King interview in its entirity. I don't agree with any racial, sexual, or gender slurs. I do, however, believe that one actor in particular who was afraid to expose his true sexuality took advantage of this as an opportunity to out himself because he didn't have the courage to do it in any other fashion. I personally do not care who's gay, who's not, who started what part of the argument nor that an argument even occurred. I think it is a shame that the chemistry that was obviously working (hence the shows success) will now be comprimised because of the immaturity of all the actors involved. If actors behaved with the same professionalism as the characters they portray (doctors), I don't think half of this would have even been an issue. We live in a society that finds these types of things newsworthy when there is so much more depth and substance that should be and could be reported. I don't think Mr. Washington was referring to any one cast member in particular. Do I abhor his use of profanity and offensive language? yes. Does that make him human? Of course. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. When we can look at our own mistakes, errors in judgement with the same criticism as we do that of others than maybe these incidents can be prevented. The executives of ABC, Disney, Grey's Anatomy etc did what they thought was in the best interest of the show. He's a big boy, an adult, and hopefully we can all leave it at that. Twenty years from now this show will have little or no relevant impact on society if it keeps the negative publicity going. This is Mr. Washington's first opportunity to address this fiasco since his termination. I don't blame him for wanting to do so whether I agree with what he said or not. No one had a problem with T.R. for adressing it at his first opportunity. it is what it is....let's all just get a grip.

  4. hafsa Says:

The best thing IW should have said is' what has happened has happened, but if only i could turn back the time i would'. Dont get me wrong, there are two sides to every story, and i am not going to take sides, however, i think he is handling the whole situation the wrong way, mentioning names for starters is not a good move. I hope for his own sake and future career his lawyers will advice him to keep quite.

  5. rose Says:

BRAVO Isaiah Washington! I feel he has completely exonerated himself and can now go on with his career, after doing his very best to clear his name. I can't wait to see him on tv again soon, and hope he gets his own medical show!

  6. melissa m. Says:

I am watching the interview now and all I can say is T.R. is a major asshole(I don't usually like to curse but that is the only way to describe him at this moment).

Isaiah Washington seems very disapointed in himself and his castmastes for how this whole thing went down. I don't think he's lying at all and I bet you anything that it is ver free and liberating for him to finally clear his name and make sure that everyone gets the real story on what happened.

And by the way, T.R gives the gay community a bad name. He's such a drama queen and hoepfully karma will comeback to bite him in the ass.

As for Patrick, he needs to remember that he was NOTHING before Grey's Anatomy came along. He should be kissing the people who work at ABC and Shonda's asses for giving him this chance at a comeback. I will most likely still watch the show just because I love Ellen, Sandra, Chandra, Sara and Justin but screw Patrick, Kate, and especially screw T.R.

  7. jh Says:

I think at this point, most of viewers want someone to blame. We have lost an amazing character and after watching Larry King, it seems to be for no reason. But people will see what they want to see. They will see IW blaming Dempsey when in actuality, he did not. He kept saying that he should have kept his cool. That he should have talked to Dempsey the first time there was an incident with his tardiness. Boys will be boys and they will fight. I think our society tries to built people up simply to knock them down. We wanted the real life drama. The only reason it seems that IW won't be quiet about this is because no one else is speaking. Not because they don't care or they are over it, but because I'm sure legally, ABC is telling them they can't. THEY look good by keeping quiet. They make IW look bad because he is talking which will keep GA fans quiet about wanting him back if indeed, firing him was a bad decision.

This happened, this sucked. But I agree with "Get a grip" 100%, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones...

  8. bayfront Says:

Seriously, let's get a grip, 100%. If we didn't watch the interview... how can we comment. Seriously.

  9. Debs Says:

How could IW say that PD erupted & became unhinged. After IW went into theripy PD defended iw by saying he was a changed man.& to EP in to it well that was just SERIOUKY WRONG. & if PD wants to wait for EP or any other cast member thats his right.

  10. mcdreamylove1 Says:

ok mellissa no offense but i don't agree with one word that you said. i highly wait no im sure patrick dempsey wouldn't do that. have you ever thought why didn't isaiah say that in the beginning why did he wait untill he got fired.oh and patrick dempsey never blamed any body and he was supportive the whole time. i will miss burke but i will not miss isaiah washington i think it is better he got fired. patrick dempsey was more famouse than isaiah washington.
I think that t.r. knight and patrick dempsey and greys anatomy are better off without isaiah.

  11. Calliope Says:

    melissa you are rude.
IW isn't a martyr. I saw a great actor during LK interview.
PD respect the other people and his co-stars. He's grateful to Shonda and ABC for his work.

mcdreamylove1 I agree with you. Grey's will be better without IW (and without KW, for me).

  12. McYummyMyTummy Says:

Is there any place on the internet where we can watch the interview? I missed it and want to see it. Thanks.

  13. frgldrvr Says:

get over it Isaiah, its Hollywood, nothing makes sense in show biz (it's not reality, that why we watch)!!

  14. HereWeGoAgain&Again Says:

I knew this had to be brewing for a while for it to come to this. Everytime you read or hear something new their is someone else drawn into it. I really don't see where it was Isaiah's place to call Patrick on being late. That's what the production staff is for. Then getting upset because they had to wait for Ellen. It may or may not be right in some people eyes but when it comes to Patrick you don't mess with Ellen. I don't think he would care who you are. Let's face it this show got bigger than any of them could have ever imagined ego's got bruised and feelings got hurt. It turned into a popularity contest and some of them are acting just the way they would in high school. It's just now the whole world is watching. The show will not be the same without Isaiah but it will survive that's if the writer's can get it together.

  15. Vicki Says:

question ..i know what the f word is, because he repeated it at the Golden Globes, but what is the bword (female dog?) and the p word (pansey???)
Sorry, this is the first i have heard mention on it.

  16. Mandy Says:

    @ Vicki
yeah the b word is the female dog..
i think the p word is "pussy"...ew..i hate that word..i dnt know if that's what you meant my pansy or not?

but anyways..this is old and has been old..there is nothing anyone can do to change it so why doesn't all the actors..mainly Isaiah and Katherine..shut up about it and move on..no matter who is to blame........just my opinion

  17. marilovesgreys Says:

Vicky tsk tsk tsk the 'b' word is bitch.

I believe Isaiah wholeheartedly. He not only sounds sincere, he makes perfect sense. He did own up to his mistakes and he did apologized profusely. He is not a homophobic. The only reason we hadn't heard his side of the story was because he was gagged, he never spoke to any one. The tabloids made their assumptions. And because he was reading those tabloids (big mistake) he got fed up at the GG.

Tr, on the other hand, did go, like a pansey idiot that he is, to Ellen, to misrepresent himself.

Isaiah is the bigger man. Well, he is the ONLY man.

And all the castmembers, save KH and TR support him. I am so relieved Sandra is on his side as well.

  18. Sabrina Says:

Some people on here need a lesson about actors prior careers....

Katie Heigl - Although she is a good actress, she had a horrible career before Grey's. No one knew she could act until then (and mainly her scene when Denny died and she was on the hospital bed with him...amazing scene/amazing acting). Her stunt on Roswell was god awful.

    TR Knight - Completely non-existant before Grey's.

Dempsey - His career died out before Grey's and thats why he was thankful Grey's "revived" his career. Him and Kate Walsh both felt this way.

Kate Walsh - Same as Dempsey. Her stint on the Drew Carey show was eehh....but through Grey's you could see she can act.

Sandra Oh - Soared after Grey's, but was pretty on the DL in the acting world before it.

Justin Chambers - His career was steady, but nothing on Grey's level.

    Ellen Pompeo - Non-existant before Grey's.

James Pickens and Eric Dane - Like Dempsey and Kate Walsh.

Chandra Wilson - A lot like Justin Chambers.

Lastly Washington - He was a lot like Dempsey and Kate Walsh but Washington's prior career stats was twice, if not more, than Dempsey and Kate Walsh. A lot of you fans don't realize it because how many of you watch Spike Lee movies and Soul Food, or for that matter, black programming. Washington did a lot of programming for all races but soared with african american programming. So when you people sit there and say Washington has no career without Grey's and he's just mad Dempsey is the better actor...thats a bunch of bull. Look at Dempsey's career...he plays the same role over and over again. That's not hard to master. I am not saying Dempsey is a bad actor....he is great at the role he plays. Washington has an outstanding career and will continue to do so.

I think the people on Grey's are not acting like babies...they are acting like humans. Like a previous poster said, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The agenda keeps getting brought up in the media because everyone, esp here, keeps feeding into it.

  19. Belgian Grey Says:

I watched the interview and it all makes sense to me. IW did blame himself for a few things (why do some of you missed that part). Of course he had to be free from any contract with ABC before he could tell the truth since they are so keen on keeping everything secret. None of the other cast members can afford to say something without the "firing" risk. Keep in mind that they need their jobs to pay the bills and to make as much money since they don't know what their professional future could be. It also confirmed my experience with a certain press that manipulate the information to sell more paper. In our professional lives we all soon or later face unfair situations and then the battle starts and it is not always the person who is right that wins.

  20. Kim Says:

I respect that TR and Patrick are not commenting, they do not feel the need to air any dirty laundry and are being adults about it. Let it go IW, look for another part and shut up or no one is ever gonna want to work with you for fear of what you will say about them if things don't go your way.

  21. Iceman Says:

First of all IW has only told 1 story of that days events since the begining before he was gagged by ABC. Check the article from the Houston paper from his home town, yet some people have stated that he has told several different versions. that is just not true. several different versions of that day have been told by TRK and spun by the press. As for taking responsibility for whats happend he tried to resign from the show at least twice because of the drama this situation caused and has repeatidly stated that he was wrong in using the word regardless of how he used it but after seeing himself crusified in the press and TRK break the gag order and tell blatant lies on Ellen then being fired after offering to resign. He went to counsling because ABC thought it would be a good move in helping restoring his image so being a team player he did,yet somehow even now he is being misquoted and his words dismissed as lies. which to me proves the truth of his "conspiracy" theory. If in this thread with all the intelligent people following this from the beginning can still dismiss what he's saying and still be misrepresenting him even now, then how easy would it have been for TRK to leak the story in the first place and use the press and the fans to his benefit. I mean just look at these comment by TRK backers even though TRK released a press statement that he never said IW said the term to him directly (watch the Ellen intervieiw and learn how shocked and amazed he was when IW said it to him) still believe him and continue to say that "he looked so sincere" of course he did he's an actor he looked convincing when his dad died on the show to.

  22. Iceman Says:

Georges dad i mean (some of us confuse the character to the actor)And to all the people who said get over it and move on. Would you if you lost your job right now and was bashed by your community? Over this?He lost a million dollar job on one of the best shows on tv I would be waaaaay more angry and outspoken than he has been.

  23. Jenna Says:

First of all, let me say that I did watch the entire interview on Larry King. I'm glad Isaiah finally got the opportunity to tell his side of the story. If you ask me, it was ABC who handled this situation very badly and very unfairly. Why did they let TR go on Ellen to tell his side of the story, and not let Isaiah do the same? Before I was on TR's side all the way, but no longer. Neither of them are perfect, both have their faults and we may never know the truth. Personally, I won't be so quick to judge others in the future.

  24. aha Says:

    Way to go, Isaiah!!!!

  25. bleep Says:

Come on! Enough already, this story is being dragged on for way to long. What happened, happened. Its in the past so just move on. Weither it was IW or TR or Patricks fault, it doesnt really matter anymore. They are all going to have their own side of the story because they can only tell what they happened from their perspective. I am really tired of this, its putting a damper on such a great show. Everyone should just move an already. I for one am tired of all the controversy and i just want to simpy look forward to season 4.
