George and Izzie have a lot of fans. I post on this site, fanforum, and there are 192 George and Izzie fans just there. And 384 on Livejournal. Everyone I know offline loves them too.
From what I hear, that panel had like 200 members participating only, which is less than the whole amount of george and Izzie fans on Livejournal. And a lot of them came from TWOP, and we all know how much they hate George and Izzie.
I ddn't know about that panel and neither did any of the George and Izzie fans I know. It is pretty obvious some people learned about it and they made sure that their friends who had the same ideas about MerDer, Gizzie and Lexie got in to make it seem everyone had the same opinion.
There was just an opinion poll done by USA Today about Lexie, and 40% thought she was a good addition, very far cry from the 60% against her.
And Kristen told people to give their comments about Gizzie ending, and the vast majority of the comments were pro-George and Izzie.
If ABC listens to one panel that is so easily spammed, they are stupider than I thought.
I know, if Gizzie ends, I will stop watching and so will many people I know.

I know, I will be pretty upset if they dont end up together, cause they are so perfect. It would be stupid if they only took one groups opinion, I hope Shonda doesnt take theirs.

Actually, the Touchstone panel was kind of an invitation only thing, there were certain criteria they were looking for. They didn't have any way, during the selection process, to know what kind of shipper you were, if you were. And there were many more than 200 even on the first survey....
I'm not opposed to Gizzie, other than it was extremely out of character up until the point that it actually happened. And I'm on the panel....
I'm not for or against any of the GA action. I just want good, consistent writing and character development that makes sense. If I wanted soaps, I'd TiVo them....

I adore george and Izzie and pretty much everyone I know does too, so those panel reslts surprise me. Especially since I have been seeing so many positive George and Izzie comments around lately, and their fan threads keep getting new and new members.
I am not sure I could watch without them. I have fallen so in love with them. There is just something so touching and beautiful about those two together. They just click.
Glad tosee so many other people wanting them together here too.

George and Izzy are great together no matter what happens I'll keep watching. I have never been a big fan of Callie's. The only high point to me is her friendship with Addie. She does'nt click with anyone else. I think Callie should find out about Gizzie and leave him and go to LA with Addie. Then they can go back to being George and Izzy and decide where to go from there.

I hope George and Izzie are over. The whole thing has been making me choke back vomit for quite awhile. Whatever happened to the real love of Izzie's life, Denny? I mean, they bring him into the dead Meridith episode, and they have that moment between the two of them, and then two episodes later, Izzie is in love with George?
To me that says that the writers of the show are getting desperate and running out of good episode ideas...

I think Gizzie SHOULD be broken up. George married CALLIE, not Izzie! I like Izzie and all, but she really probably knows she can't have George and vice versa.

George only married Callie because his dad just died and he was afriad of loosing her, not because he wanted to be in a marrige with her.

About the panel, I think Touchstone is neutral. But you do need to fit a certain profile to get in and they give you answers. I was on a board where they hate Lexie and George and Izzie and some people who had gotten in were saying they had given their friends, who shared the same opinions, the right answers to get in. And I know they just accept a certain number of people. So if people who hate Lexie and George and Izzie helped each other get in, of course the results would be heavily biased AGAINST them.
I for one know many many people who love those two together.
I think they are wonderful together and I hope one panel won't kill them. I think those two could be golden for the show.

First of all, I don't believe that the panel could have found the George and Izzie rated a negative 95%. Ridiculous. How did they end up with a panel full of Gizzie haters is what I would like to know? All of my friends and family either like or absolutely adore Gizzie or O'Mizzie. I post on a few boards, and the love for these two is shown in a big way. What is going on. I for one don't like to threaten, but I know I will soon lose interest in GA if George and Izzie don't get to be what they are supposed to be: in love for life.

Sorry I got ahead of myself and submitted too early.
I don't mind the introduction of Lexie. I just hope that she and Meredith form a bond, instead of her going after Derek. Meredith needs family after all the hell she was put through in Season 3. She needs to heal her wounds, which are great, and find her way back to Derek as a whole person. Not an easy task, so I hope they don't hinder her.

What went on is pretty simple, people from TWOP happened. Theyall got into thepanel and skewed the reslts.
I for one love George and Izzie more than anything. If they are not together, I have no interest in watching the show. I hate Alex and Izzie, all they kept doing was having sex and they had zero chemistry at that. And Callie and George ae so misfit, it is not funny!

Oh please let it be true because they made the end of last season suck for me. i just cant buy it i mean how many times has izzie been in love now, way too many to count!!
I hope they're over, i dont support george in either relationship cause i just dont care for the character but this storyline has seemed like incest to me.

It was the opposite for me. Izzie and George are the only thing that made the end of season 3 bearable for me. I know they are the reason why I still watch.

George and Izzie are the only pairing I care for on the show - I love them and hope they'll have them become a couple sometime next season.

wow. 95% of 200 people don't like gizzie...thats a huge number when you consider like, oh i dunno 21 MILLION people watch the show. Also that panel was really fair and equal...all of my friends and acquaintances who adore gizzie were denied membership in the panel, and as a result was over-run by the self-loathers of TWoP.
george and izzie HAVE to be together in season four. they are the only reason season three was not a complete bust. after all that they have been through, they have been written as an endgame couple, and anything less won't make sense.
