I don't want this chick in Grey's, I'm sure the actress is nice and stuff but I don't like Lexie already and I think, even if they try to make her likeable, I'm not going to like her, because, come on, the girl is not Addison, she is not even that fabulous!
And the title of the epi, I insist, I hate it!, because that means the main couple is gonna change! And I hate that!, really really hate that

I wouldn't have a problem if she did'nt look about 16. I would'nt have a problem if she was'nt another Grey. I wouldn't have a problem if she had not flirted with Derek at the bar. OK I do have a problem no Lexie Grey no no no no!!!!!!!

maybe shonda is thinking that now that Kate Walsh have left the show to do the spin off of GA maybe Lexie is going to replace Kate as Mcsteamy's partner, or she could be Kate's replacement for Alex, that way Mcsteamy can quit getting in between Mer/Der, Mcsteamy needs a partner and what better than a fresh new intern, Shonda you and the crew are doing such a great job with the show keep up the good work, can't wait till the new season.

I'm not going to lie, the second I saw Lexi Grey flirting with Derek I hated her. But I think we need to assume the best for our beloved couple Mer/Der. I'm keeping my mind open to Lexi possibly being positive for Meredith, because she needs family in her life. I have faith in those crazy kids we call Grey's Writers. I bet she'll end up just like Addison. I HATED Addison when she first showed up, but after some episodes, I loved her and was sad to see her leave the Seattle Grace. Anyway, hopefully Lexi won't be as bad as we think, just like Addison was!

another love triangle would be too much, but now that thatcher's gone lexi might be the one person mere needs to connect with and to make peace with. just to be able to move on. it's pretty much like alex saying to crush he doesn't remember what's happened to him. in order to move on and learn from your mistakes you either need to leave the past behind althogether or if that's not possible you need to confront. so for what's it worth i'm quite curious to meet lexi.

There have been an awful lot of risks taken on Grey's Anatomy... ie Private Practice, the mess of a love triangle between George, Izzie, and Callie, etc...and now there is Lexie Grey. I hope that GA's success has not made the writers/producers too cocky and thinking that they can pull off anything. Of course, it's possible that they could pull it off, but I just hope they don't seriously cross the line - you can only stick your toe in the water so long before someone pushes you in.

You are right Kate, i think the success of the show went straight to Shonda's head and she started taking advantage of it. What worries me is that, i think the writters are running out of ideas. What happens to letting the characters grow like normal human beings? merder for instance, can stay together build up their r/ship, have normal couple day to day fight, go shopping, have romantic dinners at a resturants, go fish camping once in a while, do something with his land (build), celebrate birthdays, his family can come visit, get to know who the new woman in his life is, see if mer has got the ellis grey's brains, i can go on and on and on. But i guess i am just dreaming, because, i am not sure from what planet shonda and team came from.

Dear Shonda -
Just my opinion but "happily ever after in the end" isn't good enough.
Your show is crashing - the fun and wit vanished in Jan 07 and has not had even a glimpse of returning.
Your end of the year blog is not from the artist I had grown to respect - it's from someone who reads her own reviews and believes them - so, again, I submit to you a review to consider instead of the press you seem to be reading- from The New York Times at the end of season 3:
(''Grey's Anatomy'' tried to fill the ''Sex and the City'' gap by mixing a playful approach to sex with a swoony look at love, and ended up taking adult romance so seriously that it veered into ludicrous melodrama.)
My summary - dump the drama (and perhaps some of your writing staff's ideas?) - go back to scripts with charming and flawed human beings trying to get on with life and get your sense of humor back.

I read somewhere that theres going to be a sex & city movei. So i was just thinking a Greys anatomy movie would be SERIOUSLY COOL. i´d go see it as long as Lexie isn´t in it.

You brought it up, so i am gonna talk.
Shes part of the cast now, its gonna be like an addison thing, we hated her(addi) so much and then we loved cause shes addison. Now Lexie, its a different thing, people are so freakin' pissed shes coming, "oh, shes so gonna ruin the show" blah blah, mcdreamy and meredith blah blah.
I say, if Derek never mentioned anything about the bar whore, well it would still be the same. 1.Its not like anything serious happened, Mcdreamy turned her down. 2. Meredith, was walking in circles, so if Dereks with her half sister, it prob. wouldnt be the worst thing. 3. Derek would still be "breathing" for Meredith, the man spilled his heart out, hes waiting its this thing they do, back in the begining of season 2, Meredith and derek were waiting for eachother, Season 3 Derek waited for her to make her mind up, hense dating thing, then Meredith waited the big long fishing trip. So now its back to Derek. 4).People relax, i mean Burke left Cristina, Addison is gone, Izzie is in love with George, George failed, Bailey is spinning out of control, Alex is in love with a patient, Chief is, still chief, but in love with Adele, the interns are residents, and Meredith is to freakin' invovled with other peoples life to consider her own. If the Lexie comes around, ITS NOT THE WORST THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN!, Seriously contain yourselfs, shut up, and get ready for abunch of maddness season 4, its gonna happen.

Another spoiler just came in:
07/06 - Expect changes to occur in the season premiere as the title is "A Change Is Gonna Come." The premiere will see new interns enter the medical world. One, who is supposed to be named Thomson, helps deliver a baby on the interns' first day on the job. Grey's Anatomy episodes would not be the same without a wacky case. In this episode, the wacky case is that of a young boy bringing his bleeding female raccoon pet to the hospital in the hope a doctor will save her. Source: TV Squad

I don't know about anyone else but Addison was a complete surprise to me when she appeared. It was also obvious that even when Derek stayed with her that it was'nt over between him and Meredith. Everybody knew Lexie was coming it was just a matte rof when. The biggest problem with Lexie is that she is a Grey which seems to always spell trouble for Meredith. If your a 100% MerDer fan the look and the little act of flirting between Derek and Lexie was enough to make you want to kick Chyler Leigh to the curb already. Granted she deserves a chance for people to see what's she is all about. But MerDer fans are getting tired of this constant back and forth relationship of their's when we know it's time to let MerDer be happy like their meant to be. So many people are drawn to that special chemistry that Patrick and Ellen have that is so obvious on screen they just want people to leave MerDer alone and let them be happy.

Would love to see PD and someone new on the show. I think he would have chemistry with many different types of women (hot is hot, no matter how he plays it). Derek is an established , smart, adult male in the show. Meredith is very immature and in the early stage of her life and they have made her into a sad, dismal type person, a lost soul looking for happiness through othersl. I think Derek deserves to be happy and not have to fight so hard and for so long for a lost cause like Meredith. He is secure in his feelings towards her; however, no matter how he expresses himself to her, she just cannot or isn't willing move in a positive adult direction with him. Don't know too many women who would react to him the way she does when the chemistry is so obviously there. Some people are just not made to be happy. Derek on the other hand wants to be happy and move forward in his life. Looking forward to season 4---season 3 was a disappointment for their relationship.

Sorry you feel that way, Hi! I agree with many things you say in your comment; however, that is not the direction Shonda or the writer's took Meredith and Derek's relationship in season 3. I think they developed Christina's and Burke's relationship to a better level during season 3 than they did Meredith and Derek. I'm ready to move on. There is always room for someone new!

HOLD ON, HOLD ON,der/mer BELONG TOGETHER. This the REASON WE DER/MER FANS watch the show. I can't stand it when someone interfers with their relationship.I hated ADDISION when she arrived. LOVED her when the divorce went thru. Addision was wrong. She punked DER out for a year. A year when he and mer could have started their lives together. Yes, Mer has emotional detachment problems,brought on by Ellis and Thacher.(It is not her fault). Der is the first/only man SHE HAS HAD AN RELATIONSHIP WITH. All this is NEW TO HER.DER will haveto step up to the plate and show her how a relationship REALLY works.( It won't be easy) Since he FINALLY realizes that HE WANTS AND NEEDS Mer.
NOW: If WE fans could get SHONDA to stop screwing around with OUR couple, Maybe,just Maybe there still will be some hope for this show.
Plus I really want Ava to come back for Alex. They are SOo perfect together. And Bailey MUST get more SCREEN time. I just wish Shonda and ABC would stop dragging people off the street to join the cast. There is SOoo MUCH to be done with the original Characters we started out with. There are still a lot of stories to be told with the original cast.
OMG!!! the NEW INTERNS they are a joke. The show is only 1 hour . There is NO ROOM for the NEW INTERNS!!!!.

I must not be very open minded because Derek and Meredith not being a couple just is'nt something I want to see. Like a lot of people I feel in love with this couple from day one and want to see them work through their problems and be happy.

Wow the show is going to the dogs if she stays.
And when it gets canncelled im gonna feel sorry for those on the show who are great EP, PD etc because they're great but they had a sucky creator and!!!
The show just will suck!
