Can someone please help me? I have an "age-problem"!
Mer was 4 or 5 when her parents split up (it seems like that from the flashbacks she had), her father "eventually" remarried, so I'm guessing, Lexie was born 1 or 2 years later! That makes Lexie Grey at least 5 years younger than Meredith, right?
Then how - and here comes my problem - can she be an intern only one (!!) year after Mer?
Did Mer go through an extra education previously to SGH or did her parents split up when she was still a baby or is Lexie even more of a genius than Cristina or what??
Because I have thought that the three seasons where really only one year of internship. Maybe I got something wrong...so can anybody clear that up for me?

I am not sure how either, but i thought derek stayed with addison for 8 months and before then, he was with meredith for 2 months. Then there came the divorve, the NDE and all othe stuffs, i think their internship is more than a year unless of cos i got it all wrong. Shonda i trust will give an explaination to this misunderstanding.
Why isnt there any pics of the cast on set? surely some photographer most have taken a few shots of them by now

One more thing, can meredith pls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be given a complete makeover? especially her hair. Surely now that she is a residence and will have a bit of time to herself, can you make her look nice?

aha... Thatcher left Ellis when Mer was 5-6. Meredith spent 2 months in Europe before attending Medical School at Dartmouth. Lexie's sister Molly is 23 and Lexie is older than Molly. When Molly was admitted Lexie was in her last year of Med School so she was 25-26 at the youngest if she didn't skip any years... meaning meredith would have to bea bout 30 right now... so Meredith must have skipped some years or the show is just getting messed up with the ages.
hafsa... Meredith is BEAUTIFUL. Life at the Hospital is CRAZY they don't have time for appearances.. the makeup crew specifically makes them look tired and warn-out

I am surprised that we haven't seen pics of the cast back at work too! I figured when the word got out that GA cast was back to work, there would be photographers camped out at their studio for pics of them! I hope we will see some very soon! Hopefully, some good pics of Patrick and Ellen together. I remember when most of the cast was at that Ball in June that Eric Dane and his wife had, Ellen was telling a reporter how glad she was to see Patrick because she had not seen him in a while and that they (the cast) is use to seeing each other everyday, so it was good to see everybody. From what I have read in a few articles since GA has started back to work this week...is that everybody is glad to be back! That sounds good!
The Emmy announcements will be made next week, on Thursday I think. Lets hope that GA will be well represented! I definately think the show will be nominated and I hope Patrick and Ellen will as long as everybody else! I wish all of them luck, I know they are looking forward to hearing!

I totally agree with sak about the merder situation: before addison they never had problems and they never stopped loving each other, now it's so much different! Like someone said, they've changed derek so much! I think probably we'll have to wait the very end of the show to see them together and happy...

They were doing good until sesason 3 somewhere along the line the writer's messed up. If they are going to convince the viewers that there is only a couple of years between the old interns and the new ones then the makeup department has their work cut out for them. It was obvious at the end of season 3 they were looking less like first year interns. Preproduction started this week handing out script's and all that fun stuff. Shooting starts Monday I believe. I'm ready to see some great pictures of my favorite couple. I'm going to be sick if Derek and Meredith don't get back together. I also don't have anything against Chyler it's the whole thing about Meredith's family that I think is getting old. You already know Thatcher's going to be around and after the way he treated Meredith I would rather not see him again.

We would probably love Chyler Leigh as an intern if the name Lexie Grey was'nt attached to her. I have never seen any of her work. But I guess if Ellen does ever decide to leave and Chyler is good enough we srill have Grey's Anatomy. It's just a though I want Ellen there until the last show is made so don't call the firing squad on me.

People don't always go straight from college to medical school. I have a friend who went after he hit thirty. Mer mentions in season 2 about having some lost years where she partied too much. The timeline may be a little screwed up but I don't care too much (I always think it's funny that Mer on the show is supposed to be younger than Derek when EP is only a couple years younger than PD)

I'm giving Lexi the benifit of the doubt because at the bar she didn't know that Derek was Meridith's. But once she finds out she better back off. (I'm all for the MerDer if you havent noticed)

I dont think i will HATE lexie as much as i will HATE derek if anything happens between them, simply because, he knew better and no matter what he knows that will hurt mer to breaking point. Plus i cant see how they will ever go back together if derek and lexie happens. Its too humiliating and degrading.... END OF DISCUSSION!
Best thing is to give the 2-3 epi a try and if Shonda keeps messing up(GOD knows i cant take that kind of pressure anymore) i will just stop watch.

Kathy - I saw that two (televisionista)....everywhere else has said 7/16, and PD said he only had a couple of days before shooting...he returned to the states last week, so who knows? It could be either one....
I found it interesting that the S4 promo pic still had IW in it. Must've been shot last year. But no ED, no SR, and thankfully no CL...

You would not believe what i just came across on the net. I am not sure when it was created but apparently it was a pertition on 'stopping ellen from marrying chris"! OMG, is that a practical joke or what, the girl is obviously in love with this guy, she has been with him for 4 years and are living together, doesnt that say something? I might be wrong, but i am very sure ellen pompeo would not be happy or even slightly ammused if she came across this pertition. Also, the comments posted where just plain rude and childish, pple want her to dump chris and go for dempsey. Seriouly, where would she fit in dempsey's life? he has 3 kids and a wife for goodness sake.
I cant deny EP and PD do look good together and i do love seeing them together. one cannot help but wounder if those two found each other too late and in another world, another time they would have been the perfect couple but that is not the case and there is a limit to everything.

I found this article about (couples on and off screen relationships) and they referred to Patrick and Ellen. I think this could have be published around the first of the year because they refer to the awards shows and most of them were in Jan.
Anyway, I thought that it was interesting after reading the comments above on Ellen.
As much as I love Ellen and Patrick together, and think they would be perfect for each other...I do believe they are truly committed to their significant others. I think they are lucky to have found a special relationship with each other and that we the fans are fortunate to get to see it each week on GA.

And I also think people see the connection that we the fans have seen from day one or those comments from the link/article above would not have been written. People see that they have a great relatiionship on and off screen. Those two were great in the NY & Co photo shoots and we all saw how attentive Patrick was to Ellen at the award shows! He was such a gentleman. He seems to always make her laugh and smile! They are just very comfortable with each other.

i really really really really really really do NOT like lexie grey. im hoping she turns out like addison. i didnnt really like addison and now i love her and im very sad shes leaving but happy that she has her own show now =). hopefully lexie wont cause that big of a fuss for SGH!
