I think firing Issah Washington is a disgrace - his character had more depth and interest than any of the cast - I think his underlying anger makes him a very interesting actor. To make him go thru all that he did ie apologies, rehab etc. and then to fire him - what about second chances - what it indicates is that the slur that was made is unforgiveable - get over it!!!!!

This is ridiculous!!....Why should Isaiah apologize?
He did not call that guy a "fag"! (And even if he did , isn't he entitled to his opinion) Although that was undoubtedly the case , why else would he have been so offended at the use of the word? I was always taught it is not what you are called anyway it is what you answer to. However, I digress...since he did not call him a "faggot"! he used the word to express his anger at another actor...this has all been blown out of proportion...and has resulted in the unjust firing of the best actor on that show...( I(CERTAINLY WILL NEVER WATCH IT AGAIN!!!)While that whining TR now gets 125,000 an episode...It think something else is going on...I am not sure what..maybe it is a smoke screen of sorts..could it be that this was all done as damage control to keep all those "MCDreamy Droolers" from possibly McWaking UP ...and wondering is Dempsy might be "MCGAY" and that is what really what the producers of the show are trying to hide.

I think the show's ratings are really going to be hurt. Cristina and Burke were too much a reason to watch because we're all over Meredith's wining about Derek and just wining in general. There won't be anything left to watch for. When a show starts to lose too many original characters it's done for, and already at the start of season 4?? I'm baffled, the man went out of his way to fix things. I have very little time for T.V. so if my favorite character is gone so am I. I never even get on the internet but I was trying to look him up to see if these terrible rumors were true. Grey's might not do good w/o him but he'll do just fine w/o it.

Personnally, I believe that everyone makes mistakes and it would have set a good example to show the world what not to do. Also, it sets a good example to the world about forgiveness if the network had done the right thing. I WILL NOT BE WATCHING THE NEW SEASON, SINCE ONE OF THE BEST ACTORS WILL NOT BE THERE TO MAKE IT WORTH MY TIME.
