I'm sad for Burketina fans but I'm not sad for IW.
I don't think ABC is stupid. If they fired IW, they had their reasons, REAL reasons.
ABC and Shonda made only a mistake: they chose IW for Burke's role. If IW played McDreamy (thanks Sir, they chose Patrick) they killed GA.

Never said I was a true fan of GA, only a true fan of IW and SO, and the only reason I watched. So no I won't be watching anythiing to do with ABC or Shonda Rhimes!

shonda and ABC are suck f***ing losers!!!! first addison is gone, now burke... i dont know what they are thinking back there? they dont care about the fans, they only care about money...
i swear im not watching this nxt season. this show has the wort cast chemistry off the set. other shows have not had this controversy. desperate housewives almost had this kind of thing happened to them but marc cherry was smart and had a strong vote. shonda allowed herself to be a puppet of ABC. im sure next season will tank.

Im not that upset cause i was starting dislike Burke...yeah he is Preston Burke but he didnt act like all the other characters...Burke was mysterious and didnt talk much i love greys anatomy but i wont miss him...

I can't believe it. This has got to be some kind of sick joke. How the hell can they tie this all together?? Burke's just going to dissapear off the face of the earth and Cristina is just going to what... move on like nothing happened?? I know she's all hard and unemotional but I think the season 3 finale proved everyone wrong. So how are they going to make this all work out??
It was a stupid move on their part and I doubt a lot of people will be happy with this decision. The show just isn't going to make sense for a while... and that might frustrate people.

Well my passion for GA is dead and gone. I won(t buy season 3 because I was not such a great fan anymore but this is really too much. ABC is a bunch of hypocrits that's for sure I hope GA won't win any awards anymore with that show. They have no respect for the fans since by doing this they will loose a lot of viewers and destroy the others actor's future they all we go back where they were. In France S3 is not a success anymore doesn't that say a lot? African American actors who are successfull are not welcome and anything you can find to break their career. If this isn't racism. The gay community should react to defend IW. Bye bye GA thanks for 2 good seasons.

He served his purpose on the show. Where was his character going to go in season 4? They should also get rid of T.R. I don't really think the show has much of a future because the writers have screwed up the show so bad it's hard to see how it works next season. I saw nothing in the preview for season 4 to make me want to watch.

I personally think that season 4 will be really good simply because; Shonda and her team are obviously not stupid, they have already seen, heard and read some if not all the public and fans reactions. I am guessing they have also come to realize what has gone wrong so far with their once upon a time classic writing. Therefore, something tells me they are definately not just going to sit there and do nothing especially when so many fans are threathing to stop watching while some have already lost interest. As for Burke character, yes GA is not going to be the same without him, however, people will get used to it. Just two things though, if by any chance Shonda let something happens btw der and lexie, many fans me included will be very very upset and secondly, STOP THE GIZZIE storyline, it just doenst seem right.

Hafsa, since you are a Mer/Der fan, I do not doubt that you think we should all just get over it and watch your couple. The fact is, I started watching to begin with because I heard Isaiah Washington was going to be on it. I started to love it because of the Burke and Cristina storyline. I became a faithful follower because of the development of their relatioship. I won't get used to it and neither will many of the people who have invested three years in this relationship. It was a dumb and unnecessary move. If they wanted to do something constructive they could have set TR Knight down with Isaiah and had them talk out their differences with both men growing from the process. Instead they have destroyed one man's career and supported the other's whiney victim act. I don't think it is going to be a good fourth season, but whether it is or not, I will not be watching. I do wish you luck with your couple, though, and agree that they need to stop Gizzie and let Lexie be a love interest for Alex. Alexie anyone?? Meredith and Derek need some lighter storylines and happier times before the just become completely boring and morose.

Hi, Burke Backer you are right the Buktina's fans are never going to get use to not seeing Burke. Come to think of it, if derek was the character that was fired i wouldnt continue watching GA for the world no matter what, so yeh u are right its never going to be the same and i am sorry for that. Do you think ABC will by any miraculous chance ask him back before its too late?

it's just not fair to demand isaiah to do all those things and still fire him in the end. i love burketina. to me, they're the only real couple in grey's. everybody else has someone else on the side. they're the only two people who changed and grew for each other. it's sad to break them apart and not have any hope to see them back together in the future. just when the golden globe controversy has already subsided, they do this and remind everyone about the issue. makes you wonder if they broke up burketina only because all this time they had plans of firing isaiah. not right.

Oh please...will you all just get over yourselves. What's done is done and you all aruging about it isn't going to make them bring I.W. back. Plus, personally, I think that the producers and ABC had every right to fire him. He was a jerk on the show anyway, and I don't care who you are, you can not use suge demeaning language and especially in direct context about another person. Not only did he do it once, not in public, but he did it yet another time...in front on millions of ppl which leads me to believe that no matter how many times he apologizes, he must have meant what he said. so all u I.W. fans can just go cry about something else. boo hoo
