That's right, even more news about Isaiah Washington.
It's not that we wish to continue discussing the firing of Isaiah Washington ad nauseam. But new developments continue to arise, and the drama seems to be becoming stranger by the day.
That said, what we try to do is present all the facts we come across, as they are presented to us, and let readers decide for themselves.
Michael Ausiello from TV Guide reports that the former Grey's Anatomy star will sit down for a discussion with Larry King on CNN's Larry King Live on Monday, July 2.
This will be the actor's first TV interview since being fired. In an attempt to tell his side of the story, expect the interview to cover the incidents with T.R. Knight and Patrick Dempsey, the Golden Globes, the PSA, his firing, a potential law suit against ABC, and the media frenzy.
Isaiah Washington now claims that Patrick Dempsey agrees with the fact that T.R. Knight should have been fired. In a recent interview with gay rights activist/BET host Keith Boykin, the actor said:
"I know Patrick Dempsey has supported me by stating that if there is anyone that needs to be fired, it is T.R. Knight, because he has created such a negative environment on the set."
Follow this link to read Boykin's interview with Washington. Then come back and tell us what you think about his remarks.

burke was one of my favorite people on the show but im still going to watch it even without him. But if george was fired, i dont think i would watch it anymore. And good job being such a great friend to patrick dempsey. wow, Isaiah is such a jerk!

I'm sure Patrick is just chuffed to bits at Isaiah's comments!
No-one will ever truly know what happened except those directly involved. Maybe Isaiah is telling the truth, maybe his comments in that interview are all true. We don't know. But to me it looks like he's being a tad pathetic with his "if I'm goin' down, you're goin' down with me" attitude.
I'm sure Isaiah is angry at being fired and whatnot, who wouldn't be? I can see that Isaiah wants to clear his name, anyone would, and set the record straight, in his favour â€" I can understand that. I just don't think doing it this way is working for him.

Does this man even have a PR team at all working for him? No matter if this insane theory is true or not he is handling this entire situation wrong. He was fine in the beginning, but this is just....well, he's hurting himself and others more this way.

What a shame that this seems to have NO end! I am truly sorry that IW was fired from the show because I did like the Dr. Burke character but obviously there had to be much more to this story than IW is telling where he is concerned or they would NOT be firing him from the show. No one but those involved will ever really know what transpired between them that day when the initial argument took place...and personally I don't want to know. That is their business to handle, not ours to know or judge. I would think there were alot of things taken in consideration other than the argument and the GG episode when this decision was made to let him go! I am a huge PD fan and I have NEVER heard anyone say one unkind thing about him in anyway! I'm sorry that IW feels he needs to make comments about other castmates to clear his name......which looks to me like he is only hurting himself. I know in all of the interviews that I have seen with PD when he has been asked about this whole situation...he has been very supportive of IW and felt things were being work out among the entire cast. Never anything negative or nothing that made you feel there was still problems like IW is implying. Therefore, I am hoping this will end soon and GA will start out on a great new season 4 with all of this behind them!

I believe Isaiah. I think this whole thing was blown out of proportion and I'm glad he is speaking publicly about it. Gay issues are a hot topic these days so ABC has to save face in order to keep the their viewers from turning away from Grey's. That's pretty sad when they let go one of their best actors just to save face. I love TR, but I think he's a coward for making it a gay issue, if he can't handle the fire, don't lash it out on someone else. Ok so people, this is my opinion, don't hate me!

I was one on this forum who was strongly in favor of Isaiah being fired (at the beginning of this mess) now I feel sorry for him with the way Disney made him 'jump through hoops' with regard to the counseling and the other things, then they fire him.
HOWEVER, that said--Isaiah has NO business dragging Patrick into this. Even if Patrick did say TR Knight should have been fired let PATRICK say that. Isaiah, you are a stupid a**. Use your head! Keep your mouth shut about your former co-workers, if others want to speak up on your behalf, they will. If they don't want to...oh well...maybe they have reasons.

Okay, I could have gone along with TR Knight using Isaiah's use of the "F" word to further his own agenda, i.e. get a better/more interesting storyline. I could have believed that. Wouldn't be the first time some used a hapstance occurance to their advantage.
But that TR Knight is working on a conspiracy to get rid of two other actors on the set?
Huh?
Especially when one of the actors is PATRICK DEMPSEY? Beloved by millions?
Seriously? Isaiah expects us to believe that?
He should have stopped while he was ahead. Or at least... not this far behind.

This is just getting tired and old. Let it go.
