Kate Walsh: To Bang or Not to Bang?
We always think she’s bangin’ (sorry). But how do you feel about Kate Walsh’s new look? The Grey’s Anatomy actress (and prospective Private Practice star) usually wears her fiery red hair in long layers (left).
But Walsh turned up at Saturday night’s GLAAD Awards with a new look, rocking heavy blunt bangs (right)…
Which Kate Walsh hairstyle to you prefer?
The second I saw her with bangs, I thought “Oh, honey, you’ve ruined it!”
I mean, the woman would look amazing even if she had NO hair, but I’m not really feelin’ the bangs as of yet. I really liked the long layers- they looked really nice on her.
Kate looks best with a side part. I love her wearing glasses and looking over them.
NOT a fan of the bangs. Yikes. They just… take over her whole face!

I like her shorter, layered cut, but not the bangs. Whoever recommended that Kate wear bangs should be forced to wear the same bangs. Get rid of it, Kate, it looks stupid!
DEFINITELY the first. The bangs do work on some people but NOT her! They make her look older - like she’s trying to look younger. I love the big curls and long layers. (I do agree w/ yall - i love her hair as a side part and the glasses really sell it as a surgeon)!

i think that if she straightens her hair with out the bangs then it would look fine but honestly they dont look THAT bad. yeah they look a little weird but i could get used to it. maybe she wanted some change. If she likes it then i LOVE it.

Bangs or no bangs? The woman is a knockout in every way, shape and form. Wit, charm, personality, who cares how she wears her hair? I think it’s fun that she’s so bold an adventurous with her hair and clothes.

I think that center parted hair looks HIDEOUS, like a straight white scar (from an axe or something) and high naked foreheads on females looks vey harsh & unbecoming in MOST cases.
Kate Walsh WITH thick, straight bangs is MUCH better looking, than that boring, awful centerparted sloppy layering !
Kate seems to be a great personality -GOOD for her & hope She keeps her bangs !

I think that in the picture of her with her bangs she looks really fake and plastic. If she was looking like her usual self with bangs I would like them a lot more than I do there.
But, I’m still going to have to say no bangs.

I have a center part and they are not boring, or ugly.
BUT, neither are blunt bangs. I agree they probably shouldn’t have made them quite as thick, I love the blunt bang style.

You people think your unique by putting side swept bangs on everything. well guess what, it’s because they are safe.

yeah, some versions of blunt bangs look like a kid’s haircut. but other versions are just stunning.
