Grey’s Anatomy Spin-Off Stills Released
ABC has released over 40 promotional stills over the weekend from the most talked about episode of Grey’s Anatomy - the episode that, if all goes according to plan, will officially kick off a spin-off series.
The stills reveal what the new spin-off series, starring the lovely Kate Walsh, as well as Taye Diggs and others, might look like come fall…
The two-hour Grey’s Anatomy special episode will be entitled “The Other Side of This Life (Part I & II), will air Thursday, May 3 from 9:00-11:00, with an encore telecast set for Friday, May 4, from 8:00-10:00.
The working title of the series is “Private Practice.”
This just makes me feel worse about Kate leaving Grey’s
I feel bad really for saying I want it to flop but I love Kate on GA. It took me most of season 2 to like her but now I would miss her. But there are some moments when I also wish it was back to the original nine. I know Im wishy washy.
I think I’m going to miss it being in a hospital setting. Although I’ll be the first one to admit that change can be good. And does anyone know who Addison is hugging in the last pic on the left? Because it kind of looks like Callie but I’m not sure.
I am really excited about the spin-off…i will miss seeing Kate Walsh on Grey’s Anatomy…but still we WILL see her, and this show sounds good! I hope that the actors are successful!

omg…i am so torn about this. i am soo excited for kate getting her own show but addison is one of my favorite characters and i love the whole addison and alex deal. it stinks that wont be together. =[ so sad. but i am sure private practice is gunna be great.
Is Burke leaving the show too???
i so hope and pray for the success of kate walsh but sad to say i kinda dont like her leaving the grey’s cast…mark and addison still have some unfinished business! moreover, the whole show wouldn’t be the same without her…is it possible for her to have two shows at the same time? hehehe….

I am eager to see the new show but I can’t say that I am to excited. I like Grey’s Anatomy because of Kate Walsh’s character and know I am not sure how well either shows are going to be. I am hoping for the best.
Honestly, I am excited to have another show that I love!!! I adore Addison and think she’ll be great in any series by these great writers! Two favorite shows a week? I can handle it!
well, i think its so sad the addison is leaving..i mean at the begining none wanted her there but we all looove her now!! if private practice starts in the fall it will defintily be on the list of shows i watch……but dont u think it will be hard because everyone will compare it to greys?? (i mean you cant beat greys anatomy)
I think Kate Walsh and Shonda Rhymes(I have no idea how to spell that) should get their minds straight and keep Addison on the show. Can you imagine how great the love triablge between alex Addison and Slone could get. Come on people! Think about it!

This 2 hour show of Grey’s Anatomy really urked me… So theres a spinoff of the show… So do the spinoff on another time slot…. I swear there was like 20mins of GA and the rest was the spioff show……..I was really disapointed and sadenned..
I really liked the spinoff show. I got a good vibe off it and it was like Grey’s, but completely different if that makes sense. I can’t wait for it to actually start.
I personally loved the spin off and was not all that disappointed that it was mingled in with Grey’s. I actually think it gave viewers a chance to follow Addison where she was going and was not an abrupt “oh now she is over here” type transition that spin offs often have. I also I kind of glad that Addison is moving on… not because I do not like her… I actually love her character… but because I think it is going to open a lot of new doors for her and open a space in Grey’s to provide more storyline… or maybe even a new character to the mix.
I am hoping for another great show to watch, but wasn’t all that impressed. Talking elevator?

I like GA a lot more than the episodes in LA. Such a pity Kate left GA..She’s a great actress, even better than ellen Pompeo, but the characters in private practice don’t seem to have the ‘chemistry’ that’s pretty obvious in Grey’s…
