ok, I'm a little confused.
In the little promo for lastnights episode on this cite. there is Meredith and Derek talking about some theory and Mark jumproping and talking about not having sex for 8 days. Now I have watched "My Favorite Mistake" 3 times already (so I'm a little obsessed) and none of that happend. Am I missing something? haha, because that really confused me.
oh and someone PLEASE tell me that my TiVo is wrong and the next episode of Grey's isn't April 12th. I hate all these long breaks they take.. what's the deal?

OMG! i am so confused... ok so does George like Izzie too? Cuz she seemed into him but he was so mad and guilty it seemed like he regretted it more than enjoyed being with Izzie.. I dont really like the whol GIZZIE thing but i did want them to kiss last night in the closet. MerDer are so freakin cute i hope they stay together for a long time cuz i cant handle a break up.. I heard the Christina and Burke break up but last night they seemed all chummy and ok with the relationship soooo i guess we will have to wait a while to see that. And its true tho..... your Tivo isnt broken McBiggest fan. There isnt a new episode until April 12... EWW! i hate the anticipation... cant we just have our weekly dose of GA without having to wait 3 weeks. Well the next episode better be worth waiting for..

Loved, loved, loved the footsie scene with Burke and Cristina. So cute. And the way she just kind of crawled over him, and the foot warming. And the way he smiled at her, and wrapped his arms around her. So Burke. And I loved her wedding demands. The mosquito net line was hysterical. So Cristina. Last night's episode was saved for me by the final scenes of Burke and Cristina and Mer and Der. Thank goodness going into a three week hiatus we have some happy resolution to the issues for the two primary couples. I'm not happy about George and Izzie. They have always been friends. I thought George was to Izzie what Cristina was to Meredith, but that doesn't mean they should sleep together. I really wish they had kept them as close friends. Plus I really am a little tired of the adultery. By the way, when Izzie told Addison that she slept with the wrong guy, how did Addison know it was a married wrong guy? She immediately started talking about adultery. Loved Alex last night. He was so sweet with "Ava". Do you really think Mark will be named Chief? I can't imagine it, but maybe that is why he doesn't follow Addison to her new spin off. Sure do hope nasty Marlow is gone, forever!

i loved the last scene with derek and meredith. i think that the next episode is when burke and cristina get married. i hope so.

Burke Backer---I loved those last bedroom scenes too. I was so happy for all the MerDer & Bang fans to finally get some reward. Its been a long time coming. Cristina climbing onto the bed to snuggle into her Burke, was so real. Its like he is her refuge from the world. And I loved the way they went from her and Burke's feet cuddling, to Meredith and Derek's. Oh how we needed that tenderness!
Addy talking about adultery--I think she assumed Izzie came to her because she commited adultery with Mark.
I love Alex & Ava too, but don't like to think of something between them if she is only a guest star. I learned my lesson about getting attached to guest stars with Finn & Denny, both of whom I loved.
I have been waiting & waiting for Chief to stop looking so sad, roll up his sleeves, and cancel his retirement plans! For Pete's sake, he's at least 10 years younger than that creepy old Colin guy!

ok i was just thinking in the previews for this last episode mark was jumping a jump rope. Ok this is me idea. Mark will be jump roping, Addison will walk in and see he's all sweaty and McSteamy that she'll run up to him and kiss him. I dont know thats just my thought.

Absolutely loved this episode! Not a big fan of the whole George/Izzie thing...I always thought they made better friends...she always seemed to take care of him like a younger brother. However, I was very excited for the Meredith/Derek cuteness, but how sad that he's hurting :( Also, Yay for Cristina/Burke happiness...adored the end when they cuddled and she told him how she wanted the wedding. I just hope they have one, and that we get to see it!! Alex was just great in this episode; how cool is it that he moved in? I wonder when we'll get more of a background for him...
Oh, I really want Bailey for Chief!! Definitely not Mark, b/c that would just be weird...
Burke Backer, you asked about the Izzie and Addie conversation; I think Addie assumed adultery b/c Izzie said she slept with the "wrong person" and why would she be telling Addie if it wasn't someone who was married? She'd tell her friends first if it was just a guy she shouldn't have slept with; instead she confides in Addie who, ahem, did the same thing once upon a time!
Cannot wait for a new episode! :)

i loved it....have watched it 4 times already, talk about obsession. my best was the mer/der scene, he clearly is very much in luv with her, i just hop he is not going to have a nervous break down or what ever because he looks really worried and lost.

Great episode...finally! And the ABC writer's blog is excellent this time too! (I think they got the message after Marti Noxon? got trashed so badly!l LOL)
Anyway....I keep seeing this on all the sites about wanting Bailey for Chief. Now, somebody help me here - but even in GA's time warp...Isn't Bailey only in her next to last year of residency? Remember the conversation she and Sydney had about the race for Chief Resident NEXT YEAR?
So assuming that Bailey hasn't even made it out of Residency yet, there's NO WAY they can make her Chief of Surgery for a MAJOR Teaching Hospital. Right?
But I loved the storyline about Mark stealing her comment and making it his board proposal - the look on her face afterwards was pure Bailey! I hope they keep that storyline alive, especially if Sloan does get the Chief's slot (although I'm really hoping that "our" Chief stays!)
All in all, a VERY satisfying episode. Loved the air time for our two fragile couples....do you really think the season finale will be a wedding???

Thanks Rose and McPsyched. I think you are both right. I didn't think about the fact that Addison might assume that Izzie confided in her because she, Addison, had commited adultery.
I agree with Rose, Richard needs to step back in as Chief and not retire. I also like him so much better with the gray hair. Isn't it funny how old he looked with the black dye.
Do you think the foot scenes between Burke and Cristina and then Derek and Meredith had to do with the foot amputation? Someone on another site said something about an analogy between Cristina's comment to the guy who had his foot amputated about following the plan and saving his other foot and Cristina's Plan B to save her relationship with Burke. That made sense to me, but if it was an analogy for saving relationships it was certainly extended to Meredith and Derek because they ended the Burke and Cristina moment on their entwined feet and began the Meredith Derek moment on their feet. So, I think both couples are mending and healing and protecting their relationships. I hope so. If they focus on Izzie/George angst for awhile, maybe B/C and M/D can be happy for an episode. Wouldn't that be a pleasant change?

I am so excited to see a Prestina wedding. I think it would be quite funny if Cristina wore her scrubs to get married just to remind Burke that she is a surgeon too.

Burke Backer--That foot analogy is very interesting and does make a lot of sense. There are only 3 episodes left, and they're still going to focus at least one on the impending spinoff. With all of the angst Cristina/Burke and Meredith/Derek have been through this season, they really should end on a happier note; the couples should be focusing on protecting and and keeping their relationships stable. That would make for a less-stressful hiatus for all of us fans! :) Plus, with some of the unresolved issues (Derek's especially) you just know next season isn't going to go all that well for our couples anyway ...they deserve some happiness for NOW at least!
I still say, Bailey for Chief!! Obviously, she couldn't do it now, but even Richard told her she would be the best for the job but one of the "idiots" would have to do it for a few years (his word, not mine!). Wouldn't she be a kick-a** chief? She's practically in charge already....Richard should just stay until she is ready!

What episode was on this past week? I thought it was 19. I read on abcmedianet.com that there would be 25 episodes and that the spin off would be 23 and 24, so that would leave four episodes other than the spin off double episodes for the wedding, right? Or was this last week episode 20? I lose track.

Burke Backer, I think there are only 23 episodes this season. Last week was #19. Then on April 12, there is a special called "every moment counts" then on April 19th is episode 20 called "ain't nothing but the real thing". Episode 21 is called "Desire". and 22 and 23 are combined into the spinoff. I think this info is right! You can check out spoilerfix.com/grey.php to check what i said! Hope this helps!

I loved this episode. Finally, some Mer/Der time. I just love the way Dereck shows his love for Meredith! I'm gald that it was mentioned in this episode alittle about what happened to Mer. It breaks my heart to see the pain that Dereck is in. The thought of losing Meredith is more than he can bare. I loved his comment (I'm breathing you in, ....how cute was that! ) and you could really feel his pain when he told the chief that when he closed his eyes he is afraid that she will drown and how he listens to her breathe! Oh My Gosh....this is so painfful for him! Again, great acting by Patrick, his face shows so much emotion! Obviously, this storyline is how Dereck will handle almost losing Meredith and I just hope she sees whats going on with him before he has some type of breakdown or something! She has to rescue him. I hope before the season ends it shows them talking to each other about what happened to her. They both love each other so much, but I think he needs to be reassured of her love. I hope they talk about things soon. I also loved the last scene with them in bed! Patrick and Ellen's chemistry is so believable!. What ag reat couple!
