may i say that scars and souvenirs was one of the most awkward episodes in grey's history. the situations in it, i mean. i didn't find the new guy appealing or charming; i thought it kind of gross for him to squeeze christina's butt like that, and even after she warned him that she was engaged, to throw off burke onto a path of insecurity. of course, this wouldn't be grey's if there hadn't been a big hill to appear in the middle of a smooth road, but still, that does not make the new guy any more attractive, physically or character-wise.
and then the dinner party, can we spell H-O-R-R-E-N-D-O-U-S-L-Y A-W-K-W-A-R-D??? i felt so bad for meredith, i actually resented thatcher's wife for arranging the whole thing. what does she not get that meredith already feels uncomfortable around her and Thatcher?
i felt that a couple things were a little unrealistic; burke getting into such a temper when he found out that derek had not bothered to page him; i mean, when burke gets mad, usually he does it in a sort of calm but frigid way; however, he was practically throwing a tantrum. then meredith getting ridiculously chummy with her stepmother at the end of the episode, like they were best friends? ugh, that did not seem right.
ok, who gave a silent shout of anguish when they saw SPOILERRRRR izzie in bed with george? i understand that izzie and george were all drunk and everything, but the fact that izzie has been treating callie like crap and disrespecting george immensely, made me feel like yelling at her. you do not sleep with your best friend, damn it! I DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH GEORGE AND IZZIE AT ALL!!!!!!! if it was like a one night stand like mer and george, then i'll be ok, but THEY BETTER NOT FALL FOR EACH OTHER! I LOVED IT THE WAY IT WAS, WHEN THEY WERE THESE TWO BICKERING BEST FRIENDS! I LOVED O'CALLIE AND what's up with izzie mocking callie for being from a wealthy family? it's not like callie should be blamed for it, or she publicly flaunted it, or anything. i understand george for being shocked, and standing up for himself when callie yelled at him for the umpteenth time, but izzie just went too far. i thought it was truly terrible for izzie to criticize callie like that.
seriously, i loved certain parts of this, of course, but i thought the whole thing was slightly messy.
once again, IZZIE AND GEORGE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GET TOGETHER! I'd get it if george ended his marriage with callie - but still! don't go to izzie! god, i really am starting to dislike izzie here. her behavior has really been atrocious for the past few weeks. you do not persuade your best friend that perhaps he has made a bad decision by marrying someone by openly insulting them, for god's sake, and izzie better realize that. all the sympathy i felt for izzie at denny's death and the aftermath - she certainly doesn't seem to remember him now, anyway - is pretty much gone.
p.s. even though alex and sloan are supposed to be the players in seattle grace, do you realize george has slept with the most people in grey's? olivia, callie, mer, and now izzie.

I don't even feel like going into major detail discussing it. All i have to say is this is probably one of the funniiest episodes ever I absolutely LOVED it!
And...I REALLY want to destroy Collin Marlow....who's with me?

thats it! I cant watch Greys anymore-well maybe once in a while, but I am definitely going to stop watching religisously.
George and Izzie are too much and very soap opera. If i wanted to watch a bad soap, ill watch AMC. Okay, George and Izzie almost kissing I could have lived with, but the two of them sleeeping together doesnt make sense - even being drunk isnt reason enough, sane or otherwise!!! There has never ever been the slightest hint in all the seasons of Greys, of ANY sexual tension between those 2.
Why am I going to watch something thats stopped developing complex relationships and instead focus on WTF? sex hook-ups? Mer,Derek,Christine,Burke,Alex Addy were fine-even Callie/mcsteamy were okay. But why not George or Izzie sleeping with a stranger or like a patients friend or just anyone else besides each to other? All the main characters sleeping w each other doesnt make a good show! Why was this necessary? The shock value was definitely lame without the chemistry, and the show certainly doesnt need the ratings.

I totally 110% agree with Sandy's comments! Oh, except I don't have Izzie hatred, and I do think she's still pining after Denny. Otherwise, spot on! Izzie and George together is yuck! I hope they just got naked and fell asleep or something, and just made it look bad. I love Callie, and I hope thye can work things out cause they seem mostly happy together, aside from the outside influences. I hate Dr. Marlow, and hope Christina can get it together to fix things with Burke. Loving Meredith's positivity, but want to see more of her and McDreamy together. And Addison should stop talking to Sloan full stop ASAP! He's a jackass.

OK Colin Marlow needs to get back on the spaceship he arrived on. That guy was just to weird and he needs to leave Burke and Cristina alone if that is possible. I thought it was great of Meredith's stepmom to step up and try yo help mend a broken relationship. Her mom was a terrible person and Meredith need some more good people in her life. I really loved it when Derek said she was worth the effort. George had a right to be upset with callie for keeping a big secret like that. I do'nt think he should have gotten drunk and slept with Izzy. I love seeing Alex with Jane Doe you see that softer said of him that so rare. Im afraid he is going to get really emotionally attached to her and her family will find her. I found it interesting when he said I treated you like my sister and was wondering if something will become of that. I hate it that there is another break between shows and from what I have read the season ends earlier this year than it did last what a bummer.

They shouldn't have put Izzy and George together in bed. This may have been a big mistake. Callie will get to say "I told you so" thinking she was right. They were just drunk. I knew something was going to happen to Burk and Christina sooner or later. This may be the end of them, his way off the show. I hope not. Meredith needs to get to know her father. Miranda needs to be the new chief. Forget anybody else. That would be a surprise!

Just leave it to Grey's. I know everyone is complaining about the Izzie/George thing but I think they could work well together. They have always been there for eachother and although I don't think their relationship (or whatever it is) will turn into anything serious, it was worth a shot. And all of that Burke/Christina arguing can't last! I feel so bad for him because he obviously really cared about her and then at the end she said she didn't know if she wanted to mess their engagement up. Are you serious?! I really thought they were happy for once, anyone else agree?
But I thought everything with Merideth and her family was nice. You can see that her father really cares about her and when he was in the laundry room with Derek it was so sweet. I loved when Derek said that Merideth was worth it. ah-dorable (:

What can I say about last night's episode? I am so appalled and completely disgusted by the whole thing it is hard to discuss. I HATED the George and Izzie hook up. It really just solidified for me that I don't like these two characters. George is married. It may be a joke to him and maybe it was a mistake, but finding out your wife is an heiress is not reason to go get drunk and sleep with someone else. It is beyond disgusting. And, true friends would see that your friend is hurting and would find another way to help that isn't so completely selfish. It was really just wrong, in my opinion, and can't possibly end well. Fans who like Izzie and George together should really be very disappointed because the only way they can really be together is if George gets out of his marriage first because the marriage is wrong, not for Izzie.
Meredith and Derek are getting so little screen time that you begin to forget that they are the leads in the show. I did kind of like the dinner party so that she can get to know her father and step family, but where was Derek at the end of the day when Cristina was in Meredith's bed? That actually bothered me, too, because although I have lots of girl friends, I would sleep with any of them.
Alex, Bailey, Mark, Addison, Chief all but disappeared this episode so that we can bring you, straight from England, Dr. Colin Marlow. Gross!
Not surprisingly, the main disappointment to me was the whole Burke and Cristina thing. Regardless of how you feel about the actors, they are professional people paid to deliver a performance and both do so week after week. Both Isaiah and Sandra Oh play these two flawed characters to perfection. It is completely unthinkable to me that they will break up after all they have been through. I hated the old guy squeezing her butt in front of everyone and frankly can't imagine Cristina allowing that to happen. Have the writers completely forgotten who these characters are? It just isn't Cristina. I hated that Marlow gave Burke reason to doubt Cristina, once again. Cristina needs to open up and talk to him. He asked her point blankly if she was more interested in him as a surgeon or as a man, and she couldn't answer. This is beyond lame that she has any doubts at all. To say I am disappointed in the direction the show is taking is a major understatement. They haven't completely jumped the shark. There is still time to turn things around. The question is whether they intend to or not. Time will tell, but I am about out of time. As a fan I can only stay on the roller coaster for so long before it simply becomes nauseating.

i would personally like to see izzie and george run their course... (although i have posted otherwise previously). But only if he breaks it off with Callie. I'm not in to the whole adulterous thing. Although, i will say again: i am NOT convinced that george and izzie slept together and all who say it was izzie's fault: it takes 2 to tango.
i also think that this episode is going to be a major turning point for all of the characters. For Izzie, for George, for Callie, for Mer, for Der, for Christina, and for Burke. It left us with so many unanswered questions, you have to assume that things can only get more dark and twisty and then go back to bright and shiny. thats why this episode felt so off.

I thought last nights show was good but was just a change from the (3) parter that was so intense!
Not sure how I feel about George and Izzie. I can't imagine them as a couple. I think of them as best friends. He should not have done that to Callie no mater what their problems were. If he doesn't want to be married anymore, then get out of the marriage and then persue Izzie. I just don't know about this love triangle.
Burke and Cristina I was alittle surprised at.. Why is Cristina so unsure of things now? I did not like the professor of Cristina's at all. I hope that he will not be a regular on the show. Why is she unsure of things with Burke all of a sudden. She was so excited about telling Meredith in the last episode about her engagement!
I love the scenes with Mer and Der! Even though there were not very many and were so short. I wanted to see more of them together especially after all they have been through. At least they acted happy and I loved the scene with Der and Meredith's dad at the end. Again, Derreck acted so sincere to her Dad about Meredith being worth it! I loved that! You could tell Der was going through something now. Like he is afraid of losing all the people he cares so much about. I guess Meredith will have to help him through whatever it is that he is going through. I hope that soomething really great happens to them by season end. Like a marriage proposal would be great! I hope Shonda has been listening and reading all of our concerns about Mer/Der and will surprise us with something special soon!

I did not like that new professor and I definitely don't like George and Izzie together. Now all he has to do is sleep with Cristina and he's got the complete intern set. I felt sorry for Callie because at least she didn't flaunt her money and I can understand why she hesitated telling him. I love Bang so much but Cristina disappointed me yesterday I mean a couple episodes ago she told Burke she in it for the long haul and yesterday she asked indifferent. The writing on this show is inconsistent. She was in a relationship with this guy for 3 years and in season 2 she told Burke she hadn't had experience in relationships. I was so disappointed in this show that I didn't even watch the encore presentation tonight.

AWKWARD!
So, let's start on "Who the hell are you NOT Hot Doctor?" You do NOT squeeze Christina's bottom like that. In fact I'm surprised Burke didn't do anything about it. Though I would like him to. I would like him to go up to the doctor and say "Well, sir, it's a pleasure working with you... however, she's mine. We're engaged. So back-off." but that seems more... Mark, shall I say?
And how many days has it been already since Addison and Mark made that bet? I wonder. D= Sorry, Still not over that!
Izzie & O'Malley... What the HELL happened there? "GET OUT!" "She's inscure! Hahaha!" "Yeah, I know... *kiss, scene end*" So... George is SO in shit now. I can't wait to see what's going to happen. Oh, wait. Apparently Izzie might be getting around again... she slept with George. I wonder if SHE thought the sex was horrible?
Izzie & Alex moment... =) That made me jump for joy and squeak while saying "Yay!" in a really annoyingly cute voice. Alex is still a gentleman to her it seems, and that's really cool! And Sandy, I don't know. George & Izzie isn't THAT Bad... I mean, She's a super model after all. Callie's gorgeous and beautiful too, but Izzie? She's a supermodel. Damn, George get's around.
I find that this was one of those espisodes where it focuses on everyone but the main character - and thank goodness for it too, because I think we can all agree that we've had a little too much Meredith drama lately. There was a little meredith, but yay! Now we know even more about the staff.
Stupid New doctor [Marlow]. >O GTFO! I would actually like to see more of Dr.Hahn. I know we've sort of had enough of her but she seems to get along with the cast at Seattle Grace well, and she's focused. We need another person around like that, not that Bailey isn't already there enough. And another thing, I haven't seen enough of Bailey the nazi lately. o_o;
And when Christina said that she was only engaged to Burke because it made him happy... okay, I know I know I KNOW I shouldn't say this, but... what a bitch. Honestly... I mean, I can understand where you're coming from [sorta]... but if he's supposed to be your Knight In Shining Whatever, then you don't tell him that...!
I found there were too many arguments in this episode. Too many. And MAN do I NOT want to get on Sloan's bad side. He. Is. SCARY. when he is angry! Albeit, I'm not too surprised that Burke got mad at Derek... but I am surprised of the way he acted. Like some of you have said, he doesn't usually act out of line. I guess the fact that Marlow's around and is hitting on his fiancée is affecting him. I love how everything is co-mingling with each other now! =D interesting, interesting...

OMG!! i am so mad... i did not want any of what happened to happen!! Gizzie is not cool. Marlow sooo not cool or hot or even worth Burke being upset over cuz he is creepy!!. And the whole episode just didnt feel like greys! the patient doctor interaction was barely there and when it was it was just blah!! who is this girl that is Dereks patient... i know they were friends and she is a doctor but i dunno she makes me nervous like she will couse controversy or something... i hope marlow leaves.. and please o please Gizzie wasnt what it seemed.. i vote it was just them sleeping naked hopefully no sex!! i mean alcohol makes you do weird stuff so im crossing my firngers! Well see ya next week people!!
