how can addison fuckign leave the show...they just got started with the storyline with addison and karev and now theyre taking her away...for a spinoff? that is the most stupidest thing ive ever heard..just when the shows at its peak theyre taking off one of their leading female characters...wow. this is so fucked up

I am so pissed about this---Shonda, NOOOOOOOOOO! You can't take addison away from alex just when the looks are starting to heat up. Addison is the smartest, kindest and most capable (lets say most fully evolved) woman on the show and to have her spun off SUCKS! karev has not discovered that she's his soul mate yet--besides, I agree with most everyone else here, it's the chemistry between ALL of the characters that makes it so entertaining---take away mcsteamy, addie or any of the others and the main characters suffer. Boo (hoo)

im not acepting this,
half the time spinoffs turn out to be second hand CRAP, they should kick someone else off, and no waste time filiming second hand crap, (the only good thing about it would be kate walsh is in it)
kick callie, mcsteamy, even cheif for pete sakes. just not kate walsh :( no no no . just kick off the useless characters and there's more time for more important characters. this is beyond fucked up. i mean SERIOUSLY?

I'm all for it, and no we do not want to see Addison and Alex hook up, we already have two interns with attendings and one with a resident. No way that would realy happen. As Alex said, I don't want to be another intern sleeping with an attending, or somthing like that. just cause there is chemistry doesn't mean they have to jump into bed together. But I'm behind the spin off 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Kate Walsh, but They are right, they don't have enought time to do everyone justice. So YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the Idea of Addison haveing her own show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its kind of like , sorry to do this comparison, but Angel to Buffy. Those shows and Angel was actualy pretty good. Angel was a main character that left and created his own show. that worked. recently sorry for switching genre but that is the most recent similar thing and the writer was the same. So Shondra is writing the spin off, so why all the lamenting and crying? I think its a great idea, and we get to see that much more of Addison, and yes she and GA could go back and forth, ie guest star on eachothers shows. I love the idea.
I'm okay with it, hopefully we'll see Alex and Izzy get back together.

While I'd hate to see Addison leave GA, I think Kate Walsh is an outstanding actress and certainly a strong enough presence to carry a new show. If Shonda is involved, I think it can be a smashing success. A spinoff starring Addison... HELL YES!

Addison cannot leave! The fact that she can develop so much more in Grey's Anatomy is why she HAS TO STAY! But, i would rather have shonda take out addison than Shonda not being able to fit all the cast into her script, cuz that would break up Grey's Anatomy ensemble.

I think they are messing with a good thing, but I will try to remain positive about Shonda Rhimes judgement. She hasn't let us down yet.

I just hope that if it doesn't work out, they will absolutely put Kate Walsh back on Grey's. It would be tragic to lose her character. I think I could get on board with the spin-off if we were guaranteed to have Addison Montogmery in our lives, in one form or another.
I love her she is the most beautiful woman on the show she's great. Hate to see her go I hope the spinoff is worth losing her on GA.

it would be hard to create a spinoff on greys because greys is sooooooo unique. they would be too close in plot it just wouldn't work. There is an upside to this however- Greys fans would be able to basically watch *two* new episodes a week!!! that would be amazing!!! Maybe they could call it "Addisons Anatomy" or "Sorting Out All the Mc's In Your McLife".
this is a total fuck up if you ask me..looks like shonda is getting the big head. this will fail and we will lose addie for no reason. Why replace addie for this new woman...she is not near as gorgeous as Addison btw...im totally pissed...
