  1. PINK MIST Says:

I can't believe I cried last night(a couple tears)…After Grey's I took a shower, I was at such a loss I conditioned my hair twice without realizing it and forgot to wash my face. It was on my mind soo much I fell asleep thinking about it and woke up thinking about it. Today is jeans day at work. I am wearing my Team Meredith tshirt today…I almost decided against it because the tshirt says Team Meredith and then there is a heart below it with wings…almost morbid

  2. Maggie Says:

Maybe the title of next week show suggest that they'd need "Some Kind of Miracle"? The next one is called "Old Wounds" so, it could mean alot of things. Maybe Meridith healing....... The staff getting over Meridith's death......Burktina realizing something........Maybe a little Sloan/Sheppard confrontation? There are 88,521,000,000,000 different things that could happen, so who knows? But one thing I know is the fact Meredith is dead. We just all need to wait and see what Shonda decides to do with her in the next episode.

  3. Maggie Says:

MEREDITH: "The reason that I want you to have the surgery is because I have this hope, that in a year, two years or five, they're gonna have a breakthrough. They're gonna find a cure for Alzhiemer's, and you and I will have another chance. To get to know each other. You'll get a chance to know me, to see that I am not even remotely ordinary, so I wish you would have the surgery. But it's up to you Mom, it's your life."
It sure looks like this is going to happen in the next episode!

  4. PINK MIST Says:

and I am wearing a long sleeve "GREY" shirt underneath my Team Meredith Tshirt....lol

  5. cmwalker Says:

i really dont know what to think i was disappointed when mer died and if they can not revive her i think they will loss a lot of viewers including me. the show just wouldnt be the same. i am a huge fan of the show but i cant see a lot of people still watch if mer is dead or if they do the after lfe thing.

  6. PINK MIST Says:

I did see where someone wrote in the real medical world someone in Meredith's condition is not dead til she is warm dead.

  7. jenjenn2845 Says:

They just can't kill off Meredith. Though it would make for TV history. I wouldn't want her to be a ghost narrating the story like in Desperate Housewives. That'd just be lame. My guess is that they bring her back to life.

As for killing someone off, might as well it be Ellis Grey. It's her time go to.

  8. Rachel Says:

Everyone is saying that they wish ellis was dead. if merideth was alive and her mom is dead, mer would probably want to die for a very long time. i know ellis is a bitch but she's mer's mom, she raised her.

Oh and if the rest of th 6 seasons her her "afer life" it would soooooo ruin the show. eww it would just be really bad.

  9. Greys Anatomy rules! Says:

wow wow wow wow i cried so hard! i really want her to live! It was cool seeing denny and that guy that blew up! I like how they put him into the episode! i cant wait 'til next week! :)

  10. TJ Says:

Pink Mist is right Warm dead is the term when you have died from Hyprothermia. I read that the brain can be revived up to two hours after losing consciousness. The cold water considerably lowers metabolism, allowing the brain to withstand a much longer period of hypoxia.

  11. JDMIsWhoIHeart! Says:

WOW!!!! there are not too many times when I ever say wow, but WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!! That was the most intense episode I have ever seen! I was literally falling off the edge of my sofa last night. Brilliant, absolutely brilliiant, Shonda. (although i will stop watching the show if meredith dies and stays dead).
And to some of you that think our girl was giving up, I looked up the symptoms of hypothermia and it said that very early on you begin to loose concern and feel apathy to what becomes of you. (if you don't believe me then go to webmd.com and type in hypothermia).
But also as something to consider, GA does SO MUCH FORESHADOWING! I mean really, you have to think that the answer of what will really become of meredith and the others lies within the script somewhere.
**My absolute favorite part of the entire episode was when Addison walked into the room and said "Come On Meredith, don't do this!" That just broke my heart all over again!

  12. Linda Says:

If Merideth is, in fact, dead, then perhaps a new writer/producer should be found for the series. This is an intelligent, entertaining show with a great cast. The on screen chemistry is excellent. Merideth Grey is a key character in the series. Hasn't the writer/producer killed off enough key people? Can this group of people not grow and entertain us without another one dying? It would be a shame to have to stop watching such a good show because it was allowed to drift into the mundane repetition of loss, etc.

  13. purplemerder Says:

wow..i am with so many of you on all your comments...so i will not repeat them...i don't think that mer will die and so here are some things i noticed that are less dramatic because i can't think about mer dying anymore i didn't sleep last night because i kept dreaming of mer and her blue face...so here goes:

    1. based on what Izzie said in her speech about the stuff that happened in the last year....so i guess that means that this is the end of their first year (i know some of us were wondering how much time had passed in shonda land) also last week when sydney said something about being cheir resident in the 5th year,,,which made me think the year is almost over.

    2. I just thought it was crazy how they bring up things in past episodes that seem so not important but then they do ..for example...last week remember that george had that camera and was taking a picture of callie during triage ....well and Baily told him to take it back to the clinic where it belongs...and then this episode after the cheif tells alex to figure out how to help the families identify their loved ones he was in the clinic and there was the camera......

You have all mentioned so many of the great parts...but i also loved it when george and alex were in the morge and alex said to george "dramatic much" loved it..

Also, i don't think that alex is related to the pregnant women i just think that the fact that he is going to ge so close to her is going to help addison finally jump him...lol and loved alex saying he would notice if she was gone...i melted.

  14. mcdreamys mine! Says:

i like others was so hurt watching the episode last night. i was hurt for derek, i was hurt for the other interns. you have to know something was going to happen to meredith because christina kept asking about her. i pray she doesnt die off the show, i loved her character, and for the sake of derek i volunteer to hold his hand, wipe away every tear, and listen to his every word. just for him! i will be highly mad if this turns out wrong!

  15. Stevy Says:

Meredith cannot die. It is GREY'S Anatomy after all. Plus, it would be TV suicide. I loved seeing Denny, except for the reason why I saw him again. I absolutely loved the end of the episode with everyone. Especially George looking so sad. Was it foreshadowing, however, when he said that everyone dies?

  16. rachel Says:

Meredith cant be dead!!! It sort of seems like alot of the things that happen with the show somehow revolve around her in a way.Plus whos anatomy would it be if she died and it would be really fake if they had her in the afterlife for the next seasons. They would lose their fans from the show too. Which wouldn't be good for the show so I am hoping that the others above are right about her waking up. Someone is suppost to die next episode and I think that it will be Ellis. But the whole thing with Meredith and Derek's reactions just made me cry.

  17. Shannon Says:

OMG I am so glad I found people who are like me. I cried for the entire second half of last night's show. I could not get it together! I also couldn't get over the look on Dereks face when he carried her out of the water. I am hopelessly in love with both HIM and the couple of Mer/Der. If something happens to them, I will die. I cried harder everytime they showed Derek because he was so heartbroken. Come on Mer, you have to pull through!

  18. alexaholic Says:

Bobbyjoe I completely agree with you abut alex hanging the photos---since I always focus on alex, I thought he has really come full circle with this episode. first of all, when he was looking around the clinic, seeing alll the people crying for their loved ones (and especially the husband of the dead pregnant girl) it was like seeing alex's heart laid open for the first time. also, it was right after that when he went and told addison that he would notice if she went missing. I cannot wait for them to get together!! I think addison has the purest heart of all the women--she tries so hard to not be unkind. I would love it if Izzie and Sloan comforted each other (picture those two bodies naked and in close quarters!! wow!)--when he flips out over alex and addison, izzie can distract him. i'm all for sex in the workplace.
LOVED this episode, and I am praying that meredith sees her mom in the deadzone and decides she doesn't want to get stuck with her for all eternity until she finishes saying everything she wants to say!! shonda, you are amazing!!!!

  19. germangirl Says:

OOOMMMGG i have read that meredith will be revived and her mother will die.... i hope really that is true.. not because of ellis grey but i dont want meredith to die...

  20. Joyce Says:

I agree with everyone that it will be Ellis who dies, but I hope we are all wrong. The writers said that it will be shocking and I think that this is predictable. While I love all the characters except Izzie, and would hate to see one of them die, I also want to be shocked. My opinion of the show will change if what we all think is the truth is the actual truth. Come on Shonda - take a big chance. No one will really stop watching, it's all just emotions talking.

  21. JDMIsWhoIHeart Says:

I think that Ellis will die while Mer is in her little heaven thing or whatever. Then they will see eachother and Meredith will get more closure than she would if she had been alive and Ellis had died.

  22. Shell Says:

JOYCE...I totally agree with you. Having Ellis die would be taking such an easy way out of this enormous build-up. I love Meredith; she's on of my favorite characters and I would mourn her death profoundly, but by the same token, I think killing her off, or another pivotal character, would be huge, bold and shocking.

I just think that simplifying an emotinally gripping two episodes by tying it all up neatly with Meredith being revived and Ellis (the character most of us are emotinally invested in the least) dying would almost "dumb down" the show, and treat the viewers like shallow humans who can't handle the unexpected and shocking details of life.

I suspect Burke will actually die. I'm just a bit afraid that took a mile when GA gave him an inch.

  23. Tata Says:

Okay i for 1 feel so sorry for derek. First his wife cheats on him and now the love of his life is dying poor guy! One of my favorite parts that really got to me was when Addison said " Come On Meredith, don't do this." and when alex told Addison that he would notice if she went missing was another part that i totally loved. I couldnt breath threw have the episode!!!! Great show!!

  24. Sammy Says:

When I saw that Addison will be leaving the show to star in her own spin off I thought that she would be the one to die, but then I realized that if she is staring in a Gray's spin off she cant die (It takes me a minute to process things in the morning). Only one more day until the conclusion, Yippy!

Someone has to know who dies. This is Hollywood for goodness sakes; nothing is ever kept a secret.
