and Izzie maybe together. Derek willl be co-chief along with Richard coming back because I don't believe they are going to wirte him out. Mer/Der will get married and she will get pregant, it will be more that Addison can take and she will also leave the show by saying she is going back to NY. Alex doesn't appeal to enough viewers to be much of anything and will just float around. Like it or not Mer/Der are the star of this show and without them most people would not watch. They need to get rid of some and bring in some new people to keep the show fresh. The perfect ones to leave are Burke,George,Addison and Callie or Mark.

I hope that the chief decides to stay now. If he retires after all, I think Burke would be the best person to be chief because he has been there the longest and did a good job when Richard was in the hospital, but he needs to prove himself again not only to Richard but also to himself. I don't think Derek really wants to be Chief. I think he knows that Meredith is going to need his time and he wants to commit more to her than to the job. He saw what it did to Richard's marriage. Addison hasn't been at Seattle Grace long enough to be Chief and really neither has Derek. Mark is out of the question. If Burke isn't made Chief, I would vote for Derek.
I think Adele is history. Richard waited too long. Adele decided to move on a month ago. I feel really sorry for Richard. Why does that happen so often that we don't know what we have until we've lost it? He told everyone else he missed his wife, but I don't think he told the one person who needed to hear it.
The proposals. I loved both of them. Both proposals were perfect for the couples and for the personalities and their relationships. George's was full of hope. His was a question. I don't think Callie will say yes yet because I really beliieve she loves him and knows he isn't ready yet for this commitment. He just told her that she made him feel better about his dad dying. She will not want him to marry her for that reason. She has to know for sure that he loves her and it isn't just a reaction to his dad dying.
Burke's proposal was less a question and more a statement. Cristina said she was in it for the long haul. She told him the one thing he needed to hear and that was that he was more important to her than winning. For Cristina that was quite a declaration of love. I loved how he looked at her and the emotion in his voice when he said "Marry me." I really think Cristina will say yes, but not before she thinks it all through. At least I hope so. I think they are perfect for each other. They are both challenging and competitive and I think they love that about each other.
I skipped the Alex and Addison question. I do think they are into each other. They may both have second thoughts about it, but the kiss was for real for both of them.

Bailey is only a resident.. You have to be an attending like Burke, Mark, Derek, and Addison to be promoted to chief.
He said "one day you be chief" because Bailey is not experienced enough yet for the postion..

Addison and Alex are both into each other.. Alex does want to get back into her surgeries but he definately still wants her! And she wants him! I think it was perfect!! Addison always boses around her men and generally gets what she wants when she wants it.. But Alex isn't pinning for her so Addison will be the one begging on this one. Alex just put himself in control of the relationship when Addie was in control first because she told him it wouldn't work then kissed him. The writers know what they are doing here.. When they finally get together, which they will, it will be even better then it would've been if they had hooked up in that closest this episode.. Just wait and you will see.
I loved the idea of Burke being chief but I think that ship has sailed so I would have to go with Derek and possibly Addison. Never Mark. Maybe as a joke or something. I think Richard will be coming back into the picture after he retires though.. I think it will take a good 5 or 6 episodes to have an official new chief.
ok, I realy want george and callies progress into a wedding. They are the cutest couple. Prestons proposal wasnt very romantic, but georges was sweet and loving... but so is he!

I hope (and think) that Christina and Burke are ones who will get married, but nothing is certain with Shonda.
One thing is sure to me and that is George actions are not because of his greef but for his father. All the things he said to George about Callie before dying are totally make him take fast desicions. I would love to see the them together, but not now. I don't thinkg is the moment for a O'Malley wedding... but as I said before, you never know with Shonda.
