addison and alex are so cute with each other.

  2. Pepper Says:

Burke will be fired, George will leave the show, Mark
and Izzie maybe together. Derek willl be co-chief along with Richard coming back because I don't believe they are going to wirte him out. Mer/Der will get married and she will get pregant, it will be more that Addison can take and she will also leave the show by saying she is going back to NY. Alex doesn't appeal to enough viewers to be much of anything and will just float around. Like it or not Mer/Der are the star of this show and without them most people would not watch. They need to get rid of some and bring in some new people to keep the show fresh. The perfect ones to leave are Burke,George,Addison and Callie or Mark.
62% of TV Guide viewers want Burke fired.

  3. rose Says:

    Pepper--ahhh, I don't think so.

  4. Burke Backer Says:

Hi Pepper. Could you give us a link to that information? I went to the TVguide channel and could not find the poll at all or its results. In Extra the results were the opposite.

"But the viewers have spoken, and more than 65 percent of you think Isaiah's apology is enough, and that he should stay put on "Grey's Anatomy."

Our poll here had similar results with 70% or so wanting Isaiah to stay. I think you may be mistaken, but don't know for sure, since I can't find the poll.

  5. Burke Backer Says:

Actually, I just checked and the Greysanatomyinsider poll is 73% he should stay. I think polls on websites such as this one that is the vote of people who are all GA fans are the ones that should count. The gay mafia has infiltrated the other polls on the more open forums with their own agenda and even then they are unable to get a concensus for him to be fired. I am really hoping that he stays, not just because he plays my favorite character on the show, but because although he made a terrible and embarrassing blunder on the Golden Globes, he is now the victim of a hateful campaign trying to make an example of him that is completely over the top. There are far worse acts that have gone unpunished. He has been punished by the media and fan reaction and threat to his livelihood. Enough is enough. His error does not warrant firing in my opinion and aparently in the opinion of the majority of viewers of the show.

  6. purplemerder Says:

i just want everyone to just watch the show and stop worrying about the cast off screen....as long as they keep bringing us amazing epsiodes it is all good.

  7. Vee Says:

I still say Burke should be Chief. He is the most focused and the most driven. Just because he made the wrong decision about his hand doesn't mean he wouldn't make a good Chief. Derek and Addison are just not focused enough, and Mark is not even in the running. Is he even a surgeon? Not convinced that he is.

  8. Vee Says:

Pepper - I'm not surprised by the TV guide poll results. If I'm not mistaken, that Micheal Ausiello guy works for TV guide. Think about it. The latest polls I've seen so far are in fav of IW staying.

  9. LA Says:

Hey check it out, Grey's just one two SAG awards! Best Ensemble Cast (TV drama) and Best Actress (Chandra Wilson)!

  10. Burke Backer Says:

I am so thrilled for Chandra Wilson. She really was great last year. And, I wanted to kiss her when she acknowledged the table AND the one in rehab. Thank you Chandra!! It was wonderful that again the entire ensemble cast won. It just goes to show that it takes the group to make the show and that while there might be stellar performances from time to time, like Bailey giving birth last year, it is basically a show that depends on the interactions of the group as a whole. Just awesome.

  11. Carly Says:

Well, I personally don't think that Burke should be chief. Yes, he has been there the longest but after the whole thing with his hand and the tremors and basically letting an intern do his job, I think that he blew it. I think Derek could do the job but he is awefully full of himself sometimes (the whole "I'm suppsed to be chief" line) although I do think that he was justified in being upset when he found out the Chief offered the job to Burke. I mean, he moved all the way from New York under the assumption that he was going to be the chief's replacement. So that has to make him angry. I don't know about Addison... I mean, she definitely can do her job, no doubt about it, and I think that she could do the chief's job but really she hasn't been there that long and that would be more of a slap in Derek's face then if Burke gets it. As for Mark... I agree that he hasn't been there long enough either to really be considered. But everything would totally hit the fan if Richard decided to shake things up and name Mark as his replacement... that would be some good TV (plus I love McSteamy so I have to give him some support). But realisitcally, I think that it should be Derek, simply because I think after everything Burke doesn't deserve it.

Alex is sooo into Addison. But he's not about to let her have all of the power. And it's working. She was completely taken aback when he basically told her to get over herself. I loved it!

Christina has to say yes. I mean, Burke and Christina are so great together. I loved the fact that it was Christina who finally broke and told him that she was in it for the long haul. It has always been Burke who puts himself out there in the relationship and this time Christina finally showed him that she could too.

I really don't think Callie should say yes. That being said, I don't know if she will or not. I mean, it woudl definitely be hard to say no to George's puppy dog eyes. But I really don't think they're ready for marriage, I mean they just got back together.

I don't think Adele will take the chief back. She seemed pretty clear when she closed the door in his face. As soon as she opened the door in that little nightie, I knew that she was with someone esle and my heart really did break for Richard.

  12. McDreamy can McDo me Says:

i was absolutely blown away by the proposals at the end of the episode. i thought they were completely unexpected and amazingly done. The way they left you hanging like that was perfect! I nearly cried when George got down on one knee. I am anxious to see what Christina and Callie say to their lovas!

  13. La houle lit Poe Says:

I don't really like this episode. I think the two proposals and the whole final scene was far too much. Burke's proposal is normal and well.. I like it but George's one... it's just not working. If you look back, and think about it, he didn't want to tell Callie that he loved her and now.. He says I love you and Marry me! Come on! Plus, Callie doesn't really look like the proposal makes her happy.
I really like the whole Addisex thing.
Alex is so into her but he doesn't want to be the one who is avoided because he is an intern (and younger). I think he wants Addisson to recognize she has feeling for him but he doesn't want to chase her and to be hurt. When she come back to him, it will work because they will both know what they really want and that they want it for good reasons. Even if they won't be together for a long time. I see it like a kind of transition because Alex is meant for Izzie.
