Well apparently TR Knight was offended again because Isaiah said he did not call him the f word. Honestly, I think TR needs to grow thicker skin. It was the same reporter from Eonline who started the whole thing to begin with that asked, once again, as soon as the cast got into the media room about the incident on the set. He was bragging about it on eonline. He couldn't even congratulate them or celebrate with them before launching right into an attack again. I think Isaiah had simply had enough and felt the need to set the record straight. I understand his frustration, but wish he would have chosen a better time to say something. Shonda could have shut down the reporter. She is good at that. Although Isaiah should have kept silent, it wasn't classy of the reporter to ask that question at that time either. Katherine Heigl of course had to make it worse by defending TR in a later interview. No one was attacking TR and he didn't need defending. And, to be perfectly honest, TR is a big boy. He needs to speak for himself and maybe he will tomorrow on Ellen. I just hope it doesn't do yet more damage. Either TR or Katherine (when she was on Ellen) could have set the record straight way back in October. I have lost a great deal of respect for both of them because they left Isaiah hanging out their when either of them could have clarified the situation. If he did not call TR a name back in the original incident as both he and Shonda claim, someone other than Isaiah should have said so a long time ago. According to Isaiah in his later interview with Access Hollywood he was advised not to deny it because everyone thought it would just blow over. The fact that credible news sources picked up on the story from the tabloids and printed it as if it were truth made the situation worse. I think Isaiah needs to seek counsel from the abc lawyers and make them prove their accusations or shut up. This has just gone on way too long. It is too bad it put a pall over the win though. It was a night to celebrate not to have to defend yourself once again.

I sure Isaiah would have prefer not to address that but sometime, try has you may, it's hard not to when you feel that someone is trying to embarrass you in front of a room full of people. I don't understand why TR would get upset, he was making it clear that he didn't call him that. I also think that PD had more to do with the situation than revealed, too. But I'm not going to go into that, because I'd like to move on from this. I just feel that there was nothing wrong with IW trying to correct the reporter. KH made a big deal out of nothiing.

I didn't see any indication that TR was upset but IW's comments Monday night. I didn't see any response from him at all. To me, that shows class and maturity. Burke Backer, you are assuming that IW is innocent and that TR or KH should "set the record straight". You have to consider that there might be some truth to it and that they are showing class by keeping silent. IW had a great chance to set the record straight on Oprah a couple of months ago, but instead he rambled on and monopolized the interview time, rather than making a short, concise statement and then moving on. TR, on the other hand, indicated that it's in the past and that they're a family. And BTW, if KH wants to have an opinion, let her have it, just like you have yours. Frankly, I think she is right on.

Well, that's the point. If TR wasn't upset why make a big deal of it. He was correcting the reporter. She should be upset at the reporter. I don't feel she was being mature about it at all.
I think KH was right on too.....and no one should speculate how TR or the cast felt at the GG when the comment was made, by their faces.....they could still be upset inside.

I think that it's important that people watch the words we use in describing people. I know that whether I am refering to a black person or a gay person or even a women. I need to be respectful and educational. He could have just denied saying it and been educational, but he chose to be a stupid typical black male....offense..and TR was offened....
all i can say is that everyone should watch the clip of the ellen show.....
also i loved kate walshs hair.

He does not respect Shonda. The reporter asked her the question. I have been a fan of Isaiah's for years but after this unnecessary outburst he needs to GO! The insult roled off of his tongue too easily, he can not keep his mouth shut.

I fail to understand why the hype is so high to fire Isiah Washington because he announced to the press that he did not call his co-worker that word??? Since when is a denial for human dignity cause for termination? Everyone knows the drama has been over the hill in hype!
I think that Mr. Knight used the good publicity of the show to gain approval for his announcement that he is gay. To sit on Ellen's show and play the martyr at the beginning of a new season, and after winning the Golden Globe is disrespectful to all his co-workers, and an individual claim for fame. The critics that think Washington is out of line are strange, he certainly should deny a rumer that is "out of control, and untrue!
It is unethical to black list him because he is telling the truth wth respect to a situation that is being blown out of sanity.!

If TR was looking for fame and attention he would be out there doing more interviews and he would have responded in an outburst to IW at the GGs. He seems to stay pretty much to himself instead.
As for IW "telling the truth", obviously that is now in question. And if he never said the slur, then why did he apologive for it in October? Did I miss an explanation of that?
