The cast and creators of Grey's Anatomy strike a pose backstage in the press room with the prestigious award for Best Television series in the Drama category during the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Monday, January 15, 2007.
While Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey failed to win individual awards in their respective best actress and actor categories, it's great to see the whole cast pull it out in the one that matters most. It's a true team effort, week after week, and this group deserves to share the credit!
We're putting together a collection of pictures of the Grey's Anatomy cast members at the event, which we'll post on the site later today. Congratulations, all!

Did anyone watch the 'after the award' interview with the entire cast? Its on the golden globe website - if you click the movie link next to Greys Anatomy on the winners list. Issah Washington storms the mic and sets a reporter straight. I understand his aggrivation with how the media overhyped this situation - but I personally think what he says is uncalled for - even for setting the record straight. I love Burkes charachter and it could not be pulled off by anyone as amazing as Issah - but i have to tell you - i'm really not a big Issah fan as much after watching that. He's a little raw if you ask me. What do you guys think?

Hi Vicki, I am disappointed that he does not use better judgment sometimes. I love Burke and I am still an Isaiah fan and believe that he has been unnecessarily attacked by the media around the altercation in October. Last night though was not the time or place. I don't know why the first question of the media would be about the spat in October rather than about the show and the win, but Isaiah should not have said anything at all. The question was addressed to Shonda and she is very good at handling questions like that. He should have trusted her to do it. I don't blame him for being tired of the whole thing, but that was not the appropriate time to address it. I went from being on cloud 9 because they won to very sad for him because once again he didn't help himself by blurting out a denial at that moment. There is really no defense and you know I am a defender.

Burke Backer - I totally agree, i just was curious how everyone else felt. I have a very hard time letting myself think any negative thoughts about the cast ...being such a huge fan of the show. So, i'm glad to hear that even the die hard Burke fans feel the same...it makes me feel less guilty about being kind of put off. Well, i have a feeling the press is going to reopen this can of worms with the statement he made. But I really do hope they prove me wrong. Keep your fingers crossed!
Until then......ONLY 2 MORE DAYS!

I did'nt see what happen but I just the ugly mess would go away. The show is a success because of everyone involved. It seems someone wants to over shadow the happiness with old news. If it were an everyday problem I could see people going on about it but from what I've read this was an isolated incident. So unless I missed something and Im sure someone will let me know. It's time to move on to like the new and exciting episodes that are coming up.

I just watched the video where Isaiah addressed the reporter and denied the name calling toward TR, and I don't quite get what was so awful about it. Did I mess something? I saw nothing wrong with it. He was defending himself, and didn't feel that Shonda should have to defend him, especially with him being right there. It like someone talking about you as if you're not in the room.
