Milton, I so agree my brother. I was adopted as a child by poor white people who did it mainly for the money & I'm very thankful I got the chance to live.My biological parents were both irresponsible, my father a black man, mother a fat white trash female and both I despise.I still have issues of hate towards them and even myself at times.I'm 36 years of age, have no friends or family that matter but I do okay. It's tough growing up as a mutt, people whispering and looking down at you. It's a feeling I deal with daily. I have had friends for girls but never had a real girl friend. The irony of all of these comments is that none of these racist viewers would have a show to watch or stars to criticize if a Black woman hadn't created the show--Shonda Rimes.
Why do you ever bother watching the show or making comments on this website if you can't realize that the show is about shattering stereotypes? Thank goodness the writers brought in the white supremacist subplot--maybe you can learn something.

And just so you know, the woman on the cover of the book is Charlotte Sophia, a black woman who was Queen of England from 1744 - 1818. And now a note about these racist comments. I would imagine that the racism in a couple of comments may be the reason she wanted a private wedding...nothing public (as she was saying in interviews). If you don't agree with their so-called "mixed-races" then that's on you. But obviously that would be your issue, not everyone elses. Some people prefer redheads, some like brunettes, some like pale skin, some like dark skin, and some DON'T CARE. It's just as much a personal preference as anything else that has to do with human attraction. Why do people care? These are awfully harsh words to use against another human being because of skin tone. Give me a couple of hours in the sun, I can show you a dark skin tone. Doesn't make me any different on the inside.
Anyway, I just thought that should be said. I love reading celeb "gossip", but there are always a few people who only want to be here to be catty and mean about someone who can't "get back at you." So awful.

Firstly, I hardly think Negroes are anyone's equal. The negro race has an average IQ of 70 worldwide! Heck, even Koko, the lowland gorilla that uses sign language, has had her IQ measured at 87 (www.koko.org). So there are actually gorillas with higher IQ's than the average colored.
Secondly, negroes were sold by other negroes INTO slavery. They were first slaves in Africa, and the fortunate ones were brought to America where they mostly lived good lives. The negro owes the White man a great debt of gratitude for allowing him to come to America.
Thirdly, you obviously were unable to find a place on earth where colored folks have improved an area in which they moved...because negroes only know how to destroy.
