I would like to first congratulate Chris and Ellen.
I am a proud, educated, intelligent and absolutely beautiful African American young woman, who if not married would date any race I damn near please. I will never allow the "trash" of our society to demean me, nor will "trash" ever take away from my blackness. You see all those who are on this blog criticizing this interracial couple don't have a problem with the couple, the problem is within themselves. The truth is people, we will have to accept ignorance it will always exist. We must learn to appreciate ignorance, because ignorance breeds motivation and motivation breeds Success. So when I hear racist, ignorant statements such as those it motivates me to become more successful therefore please continue the racist remarks, all they'll do is motivate more interracial relationships and more success amongst African-Americans.

I am a six foot three American of Spanish ancestry, I have blonde hair and light blue eyes. My family comes from northwest Spain, and Spain is a White country.
My ancestors fought with Franco and served as officers in the Waffen SS during the war. There are tens of millions of White people in the world with Spainsh surnames. In fact, if you are not White, you are not Spanish

wow, the amount of racially charged comments are disturbing. This is 2007 and the mentality of many people remain the same. Regardless of skin color they are both human being, and should be treated and discussed with dignity and respect. Regardless of your religion or lack there of, everyone SHOULD have a sense of morals in regards to the treatment of their fellow man. God bless this couple and I hope if they do decide to have children, they will not be privy to such discussions.
I also believe posts of such a nature should not remain on the website, clean up the site ABC.
