Walsh Will Star In Stephen King Adaptation
TV Guide reports that Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh has signed on to star opposite John Cusack in the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's 1408.
King hails from the state of Maine, as does Patrick Dempsey, who plays the husband of Walsh's Grey's Anatomy character, Dr. Addison Shepherd. Coincidence? Absolutely.
In 1408, Cusack will play an investigator of paranormal occurrences who encounters real terror when he checks into the notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. Walsh plays his ex-wife and mother of his young daughter, while Samuel L. Jackson will also assume an important role.
Mikael Hafstrom is directing the movie, which was adapted for the screen by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.
