  1. Sherry Says:

OK- I was going to ask if you were on drugs, but felt that may be a bit too brutal. :>) WHAT are you talking about, of course Burke will get better in time. There's not a show without he and McDreamy, but of course Burke was part of the cliffhanger. I was VERY sad that Denny died. I cried and cried, he was a sweetheart, but what Christina said to Izzy about Denny did make sense. Izzy doesn't know what kind of beer Denny drinks or who his favorite sporting team is etc... As for Meredith&Derek, i've been watching since day one, so I fell in love with them as a couple. They talked, had great sex, had a lot in common etc..... I do not see Derek with Addy, she just showed up one night out of the blue after cheating on Derek for months with his best friend. Hopefully Addy will remain around Seattle since McSteamy will be there in the fall also!!???

  2. Lindsay Says:

Denny dying broke my heart. I think he might've been my favorite character of the season. I really loved his character and it sucks that they killed him off. It could've worked with him on the show. I know I'd love to see him every night!

Meredith and Derek used to be my super-couple, but now I'm not so sure. He's been a major jerk to her lately and I don't think he's deserving anymore. I would like to see them back together, though, just to see what happens.

And finally, I don't like Alex. Never did, never will. Would've rather seen him die than Denny... :(

  3. Dylan Says:

To answer your question, I think Christina's heart to heart with the Chief left the biggest impression on me, because I was so angry at Christina for bailing on Burke, but after seeing that part of the show, I understood...she does care, she's just scared. But what a retarded time to get scared. HE NEEDS YOU, you DOLT!

    Great blog!

  4. Ashlee Says:

I'm with Lindsay up there... I am NOT an Alex fan (yes, I realize he was FINALLY sweet with the scooping-Izzie-off-the-bed deal, but it doesn't make up for a season of wanting to throw things at the TV every time he came on the screen)... and I'm going to miss Denny big time. I think they could've worked it into the show. I bawled when he died - totally broke my heart. :(

Meredith and McDreamy's sleazy sex scene annoyed me. I'm starting to like Addison, and after Denny dying/Izzie's deathbed scene, the McDreamy/McVet decision for Meredith seemed so trite. I know it's all about the cliffhanger, but I wasn't so impressed with that being the closing scene. :P

    Blah. How long til September?

  5. Deborrah Says:

Wow. What a season. I only wished they could have prolonged the character of Denny and wait to make a decision on whether to keep in involved in the story or not. He could've simply been a secondary character, like Dr. Bailey's husband or the Chief's wife. They're there, we know they're there and we don't have to see them all the time.

I absolutely loved the chemistry Denny had with Izzie -- love at first sight, for him. And to watch Izzie grow to love him very deeply was so satisfying ... the one guy who doesn't look at her like the sexy underwear model with big boobs.

It tore me to pieces to watch her pleading with him to go along with her plan to get him the heart and her breaking down sobbing in his arms ... even though he had already told her he wasn't going to "steal another man's heart" -- the look on his face, the tears in his eyes, spoke volumes about these characters.

The love story was so tender and pure ... with just a few naughty moments ..."can I just see one boob?"

Can't wait for this to come out on DVD in September so I can watch Season 2 again and again ... and if I stop it at just the right place, Denny doesn't ever have to die and I can imagine the characters walking off into the sunset to live happily ever after. Hey, it's my dream! LOL

  6. flavia Says:

so ....cute ! wonderful finale season
I am so sad that Denny died ! and I can not believe that Mer have sex with Der ! It was so wrong right now! I hope that he broke up with Addison fist to begin a relationship with Mer.

  7. GLORIA Says:

OKAY! THERE WAS A WHOLE LOT GOING ON IN THE FINALE. FIRST AND FOREMOST, WHO'S THE CHEAT NOW. HOW COULD DEREK HAVE SEX WITH MEREDITH WITH THE WHOLE HOSPITAL PRESENT? AND SHAME ON MEREDITH FOR LETTING IT HAPPEN. SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, DEREK STILL HASN'T LEFT HIS WIFE, ADDISON YET AND STILL HASN'T SAID HE WILL. SO MUCH TRAGEDY IN THIS ONE, MAYBE THE ENDING WAS A DREAM SEQUENCE LIKE SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED ON THE BLOG. THAT WOULD BE COOL TO HAVE IZZIE AND DENNY BACK NEXT SEASON HAPPILY MARRIED. ONE CAN ONLY WISH. I WANT BURKE TO HEAL COMPLETELY AND COME BACK BETTER THAN EVER. I KNOW, I KNOW HE HAS TO GO THOUGH THE EMOTIONS AND THERAPY. DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK HIS RIVAL SURGEON AND CLASSMATE IS COMING ON TO MAYBE THROW A WRENCH IN THE BURKE/CHRISTINA PAIRING?. AND DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE SHOOTER WAS ACTUALLY REVIVED BY CHRISTINA?. I DON'T THINK THEY EVER WENT BACK TO THAT SCENE. I KNOW I'M BEING LONGWINDED BUT THERE'S SO MUCH TO SAY. I THINK WHEN THE CHIEF LOSES HIS NIECE HE'S GOING TO HAVE A BREAKDOWN, IT SEEMS LIKE HE'S MORE OF A FATHER FIGURE TO HER THAN AN UNCLE. WELL I THINK I'M ABOUT DONE WITH MY RANTING.

  8. Danielle Says:

    I predict the following...
DR. BURKE will have a long physical therapy process, and in the meantime becomes chief of surgery. His relationship will CRISTINA will be rocky..
DR. WEBBER will retire to be closer to his family.
While Burke is recovering, the doctor from the other hospital fill in for him.
MEREDITH will choose neither guy, but run after Izzie instead. After that, she will have awkward moments wth Finn.
ADDISON will leave Derek. Derek will have to fight for Meredith. (finally)
GEORGE and Calli will continue their little escapade.
IZZIE will take some time to mourn, but will be back. (I hope)
and ALEX, will eventually give up on surgery at seattle grace and move to NY to pursue plastic surgery with McSteamy.

  9. ria Says:

    ok yeah...
denny was cute but im sick of hearing about him.
He was gunna die that was certain. And Izzie should'nt have cut his LVAC. I don't think it was love only a crush. Hate me if u will but im not in love with denny.

    mer/der is another story...

  10. merderlover Says:

DENNY DIED. HE IS NOT COMING BACK NO MATTER HOW MUCH U WISH HE WOULD SO STOP CRYING ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!

    geez

  11. Chasity Says:

I think Cristina's interview with the Chief left the most impression. It gave insight into why she kept running away from Burke and it's shown how much she's change these past two years. I also think both Burke's career and his relationship with Cristina will last. He's way too in love with her to break up with her. Any man who tells you he won't hold a grudge against you if you decide to leave him in his weakest moment because he knows you're not emotionally strong enough to handle it and who accepts all your short comings, is not going anywhere. Somewhere during season 3, I see Burke proposing to Cristina.
I'm really, really glad that Denny died. He took up way too much airtime and Izzie turned into a freaking moron. When I look at Derek and Meredith, I don't see two people who are in love. I see two of the most unlikable lead characters ever. They just suck.

  12. Joey Says:

The last episode was sad (because of Izzie's situation and Dr. Burke's hand), but I was actually disappointed that Meredith and Derek had sex...I wanted her to give it a try with the vet (Chris O'Donnell)...My friend Carol thinks that Addison is going to hook up with the vet and leave Derek.

  13. merder4eva Says:

guys give derek a break. i don't think he was being a jerk. just a guy majorly in love with the woman of his dreams that he can't have (at the moment)

  14. Mal'akh Says:

Better example of true love: Izzie/Denny or Mer/Der?

    IMO, hands down it's Izzie/Denny.

Which intern's one-on-one talk with Richard left the most lasting impression?

Christina's. Finally we see how the woman is ticking. That something has finally touched the steel interior.

More likely to survive: Dr. Burke's career, or his relationship with Dr. Yang?

Based on what Christina said during the talk with the chief, his relationship.

Will George ever say "I love you" to Calli?

We can hope, but like the Mer/Der affair the guy is really confused so I'm not holding my breath.

  15. Kaze Says:

Better example of true love: Izzie/Denny or Mer/Der?
Oooo, for me, a toughie... It's pretty obvious that Denny and Izzie loved eachother.. I mean come on, who wouldn't play dirty-word scrabble with the one they loved? But Mer and Der have loved eachother since day one. It's 100% obvious to me that Mer can not get over Der, and Der can deffinately not get over mer, which he, thank goodness finally figured that out. Remember the jealous looks he gave multiple times at Mer during "Damage case"- "Losing My Religon"? That's what I mean. He's a jealous man, he will come back. They always come back.

Which intern's one-on-one talk with Richard left the most lasting impression?

Cristina was the one that I found the most lasting. She explains how she is losing what she treasured, and is starting to figure out that there are more things to life then surgery.... -cough-Burke-cough-

More likely to survive: Dr. Burke's career, or his relationship with Dr. Yang?

We know that Burke loves Cristina.. He LOVES Cristina. I doin't think he would let go of her that eaisly, just because she wasn't supportive. In fact, I believe Cristina was never taught how to be supportive. Also, Cristina has troubles just opening herself to anyone, and it will be a while before she completely opens herself to her beloved. Hopefully Burke understands, and will just give her time..

As for Burke's hand problems, I don't know what's going to happen. He does have the will power to fix his hand, and hopefully he will. What will he do without surgery? Even if he can't be a surgeon, I am sure the cheif would give him a good job in the medical field... Cheif maybe? lol...

All in all, I believe the relationship between Burke and Cristina will last the longest. .

Will George ever say "I love you" to Calli?

George will evantually say the three magic words to Callie, but only god knows when.

  16. Susy Says:

MerDer are true love. Izzie/Denny were love.

  17. Mel Says:

Mer hands down. It seemed to really get to the cheif, especailly how she compared it to her realationship with Derek. Felt really good for mer to get it out there, and for the cheif to see how she feels about the fact that he destroyed her parents marrage.

Bourkes career is probly over, so il have to say yang. She went and held his hand at the end, which sorta seemed to mean she's sticking by him, but i can see a lot of hardship ahead for those two.

George will say to Callie he loves her, in time, when he really feels that way. remember he is still recovering from mer and he needs more time to accept everything. Im jus pleased he finally forgave mer!

  18. iheartmdreamy4eva Says:

i cried when izzed started crying denny was a sweetheart if he had lived him and izzie probably would have gotten married and had a good life

  19. BrazilianGal Says:

What is going on with those writers? I think as just as McCritic over there. Denny and Izzie had a good example, they were the model of true love which is what society needs and not that cheap playboy's sex between Mer and Derek. They are really boring lately! Principles and values are being cut from a show widely viewed and liked! Come on you guys! It is always nice to move on with the show but try to make it wisely!

  20. BrazilianGal Says:

Yeah I agree that the show has to move on but, why killing Denny? Denny and Izzie were a turn on of the show. It finally has got that less teen mood and more mature tune. Come on people, that focus on Mer and Derek passion scenes are no longer fulfilling the audience I think! At least, grown ups know that life is more passion, it is about love too so, Izzie and Denny had so much to show to people than Mer and Derek and that whole rival issues crap! I AM GONNA STICK WITH THE PEOPLE THAT ARE CRYING OUT LOUD:
    I WANT DENNY BACK, TOOOOOOOO!
    I WANT DENNY BACK, TOOOOOOOO!
    I WANT DENNY BACK, TOOOOOOOO!
    I WANT DENNY BACK, TOOOOOOOO!

  21. Gigi Says:

Better example of true love: Izzie/Denny or Mer/Der?

Izzie and Denny had a pure, brief-though albeit "medically illegal"-relationship. It was touching.
But I'm a big Mer/Der fan. I have to say, though-I was shocked that they had sex.

Which intern's one-on-one talk with Richard left the most lasting impression?

Christina's. When she was begging Chief Webber to teach her how not to care...wow. Even her saying that she'd say who did it, if only he'd tell her how to turn her emotions off..It was very sad. What was even more impressive was the Chief telling her that he didn't want to tell her how to be that way because emotions are good...that was even more touching.

More likely to survive: Dr. Burke's career, or his relationship with Dr. Yang?

I want to believe that both are likely. Christina really loves Burke, and we all know he really loves her.
And his career...I believe that he is strong enough, dilligent enough to work himself until he's better.

Will George ever say "I love you" to Calli?

I think he will...right now, he's just giving it time. She is so extremely involved emotionally in what they have (the term "head over heels" comes to mind), she can't understand that she needs to wait until he heals...and then, he will admit it to himself, and in addition to her, how he feels. If she honestly loves him, she should want him to mean it when he says it.

  22. Burke Backer Says:

Better example of true love: Izzie/Denny or Mer/Der? I actually think it is Mer/Der. Izzie was in love with the idea of Denny not the reality. Their relationship was too much tied up in the nurse/patient relationship. I'm sorry that he died, but I love Izzie with Alex and hope that they get back together. Mer and Der, on the other hand, are in love with each other no matter what obstacles stand in their way. It may have begun on a physical level (not that there is anything wrong with that), but I think it has grown over their forced time apart.

More likely to survive: Dr. Burke's career, or his relationship with Dr. Yang?
I really hope both. Being a surgeon is Burke's identify. I would hate to have his character lose that, and the Burke/Yang thing is the main reason I never miss an episode. Even if I have to wait for the last few minutes of the show, for example episode 1, season 3, it is worth the wait. I love their relationship. She is learning that it is okay to be vulnerable because he loves her no matter what.

  23. Ms MC DREAMY Says:

So at the time that i am writing this it is after the episode intitled Don't stand so close to be. We are about 1/3 of the way done with Season 3 and i still want to answere the questions about the show.
I think Izzy and Denny are the best example of
true love for sure but i really love mer and Der. Currently very happy that she choose hm and I really love the wildness of their relationship.

as for Question 2 I totally think that Cristinas talk with the cheif was the best and left a major impression on me. i love the episodes when she cries. The chiefs response to her was great.

As for Question 3 I think that both have an equal chance. If Derek can't fix Burkes hand then his career is over. But if he can't forgive Christina for telling the Chief then their relationship is over.

    As for Question 4
Since Callie broke up with George slept with Mcsteamy and George can't fogive her you would think that there is no hope for them but I believe that It will take until February but George will say i love you and they will get back together.

I CANT WAIT UNTIL JANUARY 4
